Tired Hands (June 2017)

I need the teaching job where 25 dollar 4-packs are a reality.

It will last for a while, but I don't image at any point there isn't a line. This is the longest line I have seen this early.

 

This is probably the most annoying can release, I think this will be my last for a while. Watching people leave chairs and go back to work for 4 hours and then people cutting in line, it is not worth the hassle

 

So my wife and I are driving through town and we're planning on stopping at the fermenteria for a bite/pint before I saw news about the can release. Is that still going to be possible given the release tonight? ETA has us passing through around 6:30...

 

if she enjoys a lot of hustle bustle when eating/drinking or you do too... there will be a lot of stuff happening... parking isn't a cinch either... not an ideal time for the old pop in for a bite/pint

 

Good deal. Yeah, were no strangers to breweries/releases, so the hustle/bustle isn't a big deal... just wasn't sure if Tired Hands changed up operations during a release.

the last time I said that the guy who flags the group to cross the street had dissapeared. new people kept cutting into detached part of the line for 30 minutes while the rest of us were at a standstill.

 

nah just a lot more people trying to receive service.. growler lines are generally a lot longer

luckily the general store is open now and if you want some hophands cans you can get as much as you want.. seems they lifted the limit... wonder if forever.... i'm sure somebody will come in and scoop 5 Cases or some shit and they will put some form of limit back in place

 

Someone posted 860 in line. That means no way of getting the IPA if everyone gets 2 and slim chances on the rest.

 

I don't think there are that many in line, maybe 500

 

I counted 300 chairs at 2:00.

 

860 in line would be some feat... damn

heard it was a ton of people and was like a party going on over there today

 

800 in line will stretch back to Berwyn.

You mentioned people dropping off chairs and then leaving. Isn't this what they do every week at these long lines?

You are totally correct, but I think this one has surpassed previous dump and runs. I have been to a few releases and I saw 3 people in maybe 250 chairs. The ferm wasn't all that full either. It would be less irritating if it were one person per chair, but once again. People are greedy and cut in line.

I need to take a break from this craziness.

 

How was this year's Gatherer? Did Drew pour a sample for everybody in line?

 

I would have gone to get Gatherer if it wasn't the same day as a Milkshake. Gatherer was great last year and I still have a few cans to enjoy. Milkshakes, chairs, and all the people waiting in line for hours just to get trade "bait" isn't worth it though.

 

Man this is the slowest moving line ever.
