General question to everyone, is there a certain price point on the milkshakes that you would eventually just say no to and pass on purchasing cause its just too expensive? What is your breaking point?

Still a good amount of gatherer left. Shake pretty low. Maybe 30 people in line

Anybody have the name of that vanilla stout they were pouring samples of in line today? That stuff was awesome!

Well I have never waited in line for Tired Hand canned beers so I can appreciate, sort of, why you would want to take a break.

I have been on a one+ year break and I will continue on this break in perpetuity.

    Cheers!

Most people in line are fun to talk to, I don't mind waiting in line. I share with friends and they return the favor. Just would be nice if people were more respectful to other people in line and weren't so greedy and cutting in line. Called out a group that joined their friend and they looked at me like I was the one that was in the wrong.

A few of us were talking about this in line. I think any higher than it is now is probably my breaking point, at least to where I would drive 2 hours (which I do) to get it, but I also prefer their non-milkshake IPA offerings to most of their milkshakes. One guy said he would go up to $10/can. I would not.

I think part of the problem was having 3 options for the taster and having Jean and the 18th Street guy there...people were shooting the shit and taking pics and stuff. Kind of cool, but man it was slow.

Agreed. Typically from the lot at the apartment complex, it takes a good 20 minutes to get your cans. Last night it took close to 35-40, all because they had the brewers handing out line beer tasters right next to the registers. It caused everything to go so slow. Appreciate them sharing, but I just wanted to get the hell out of there by that point.

Did anyone go to the general store yesterday? I'm finding it real hard to believe that they'll have hop hands all the time since I'm sure someone will buy like 10 cases and ruin it for everyone. I wanna go up there and grab a few four packs for the weekend.

I was there yesterday. The staff was working hard to keep the cooler well stocked. There didn't seem to be any issues.

Yeah what it is now is pretty much my limit. I split a four pack with my friend cause I didn't want to pay for all four. Kinda glad I did, the strawberry isn't my favorite.

Extra vanilla and the mango are my favorites.

so 900 allotments of shake sold out by 8:15... would have been maybe 7:45 if the line moved quicker

the last 700 allotment shake sold out around 7:15

    good info

    Unless my math is wrong,

    Shake-------------900x$50=45,000
    Gatherer----------900x$48=43,200
    Infinite Energy---750x$36=27,000

Yeah I would say why not do tasters and meet and greet with the line before actually moving the line for the sale but if no one is in line...
I like having the sample when i move through but maybe for stuff like that just go around the ferm with tasters. And yeah over $100k in a couple hours is nuts.
