Noon Whistle (IL)

What's the verdict on Banter? I'm debating stopping when I get off of work.

 

Incredibly smooth and delicious, both on tap and out of the can. Jumping up the Gummy chart for me! Squishy was good but I enjoyed Gummypocalypse way more. Well worth a trip over to NW since both Banter and Squishy are on!

 

Thanks! Looks like I'll be stopping. I still have two 4 packs of Squishy in my fridge. Looks like my fridge will be loaded for the 4th.

 

If they decide to can the Let's Gummy recipe I may as well check into rehab afterwards! Of all the Gummy I think I downed the most of that one.

 

Banter is a rock star for this BA. It's quite potent though, it will hit ya! So exercise caution in drinking it!

 

Thanks for the heads up! I'll grab my usual three 4 packs. Since I'm off next week, those three plus the two squishy 4 packs I have should keep me happy.

 

That would be a well stocked fridge there!

 

They were letting people buy a case at noon, not sure if that's still the case (bad pun). Just an FYI if you were looking to score more than three 4-packs

Good Times at Noon Whistle today! Brought in $60 worth of Popeyes chicken and shrimp to share and hung out for almost 2 hours - great atmosphere!
And Gummy Banter is darn good! But I better have a couple more to appropriately compare to all other gummies....

 

Gummy Banter isn't bad. I might let my other cans sit a week or so, its good, but not great. Squishy was definitely better, Funny Gummy is probably right up there too. Maybe it just needs to settle a bit.

Noon Whistle is still killing it.

 

completely agree. i had a squishy last night, followed by a banter. setting aside the differences in taste, the banter was pretty "hot." i think letting them sit for a week may do the trick.

I think I've officially developed a Guava Gose Smack addiction. Been crushing them in the warm afternoons. I was getting worried I'd run out, so I bought the last 3 4-packs at my local store.

I was also pleasantly surprised to find them in the Craft Kave at the Cell.

 

I assume that Gummy Banter cans are long gone, but does anyone know if they're doing crowler fills?

 

Based on a recent instagram reply, it seems no crowler/growlers for the Gummy beers any longer...

I assume there could be a random case where that might change, but so far haven't heard of it happening since they started putting them in cans.

Someone mentioned it in this thread earlier, and the board at the brewery last week seemed to confirm, no growler or crowler fills of the gummy beers.
