There was discussion in past threads that the police were going to ticket cars if they park beyond the 2 hour limit. Are they actually doing this?

    Cheers!

Not sure if they still are, but as of a few weeks ago yes, they scan each car and will ticket if it is there more then 2 hours, even if the meter is still paid. I have not gotten a ticket, but have seen cars that have.

Yes - they are definitely still giving tickets. If you move your car to a different metered spot you will not receive a ticket. I believe it is only on can release days. The township and local businesses are not happy with the way the can releases are handled.

FYI, there is plenty of free parking around if you just look a little. You might have to walk a small amount, but it's well worth it.

Where? I know a few months ago I found a side ride of some neighborhood that had free parking and no signs (I didn't feel comfortable parking there though). But when I went back the next time there was a sign that said no parking (I think).

Yeah was just about to post the same, you can park a couple blocks away (just make sure it's not residential parking) and not have to worry about any of the above comments.

if we were both looking at a map together i could point to a couple places but i don't feel like photoshopping anything right now. i have parked near the Cricket Ave fork a couple of times. Actually I try and park there most times.

And I mean I totally understand why Tired Hands posts only the map with the metered parking directly in the vicinity of their breweries but if releases are going to last hours then I'm not going to spend my time in line paranoid about parking. Apologies to anyone who lives on that street.

Thanks. Last time I was there I parked in front of John Henry's (which has meters). Guess I should have gone a little further down. For what it's worth, while I did keep the meter full, I stayed parked there for about 4 hours and didn't get a ticket. But I did see them ticketing closer to the Ferm.

They definitely ramp up inforcement the closer you get to the ferm.

Is the parking limit still enforced in the small lot right next to the Ferm?

Anyone care to venture a guess as to whether/what cans will be leftover tomorrow? Feel free to base your guesses on tea leaves, astrology, synthesizers, or anything else for sale in the Tired Hands General Store.

It's pretty safe to say that unless it's a pilsner or lager, it will not last into the next day. I can only think of once or twice that happening.

It happened with Pineal 3 weeks ago, and I thought it happened at least once or twice within the last two AC releases.
