Is the double barrel DA like Double Oaked Woodford style, or 2 different spirit/wine barrels?

I will be traveling with my family from Indianapolis to Beckley WV in 3 weeks. Halfway looks to be Hocking Hills State Park and we're planning to stop and do a couple quick hikes to see the caves/gorges/waterfalls. We'll be passing through Athens afterwards and I hope to stop at Jackie O's to pick up some brew to take with me to our ultimate destination (Richmond, VA). Never had any of this beer before but the reputation is very high. If there's anything in particular I should look out for or any other beers available in the area I should try to get, please let me know! It'll be Sunday 7-23 when we make the trip. Also, any difference in selection at the 2 locations? Thanks.

How exactly? How is making NEIPAs which are popular different than making a popular stout, or providing variety or making a classic style?

Saying what you said differently: A brewery who sees a trend and wants to be a successful (or more successful) business will give the customers what they are looking for.

How is that related to integrity?

What work do you do? In my field we are always trying to please our customers, as well as be ahead of, or follow quickly on new trends. In fact most if not all businesses will do that, or they will cease to be in business.

I didn't make the original post so I don't want to speak for the poster, but I would say it's about integrity of the product, not the brewery itself.

Or if I can quote the brewery's own press materials: "Jackie O’s is dedicated to making a clean IPA with a focused and prudent process."

I hear your take on this, but that is most definitely not what he said. He spoke specifically to breweries pandering to the masses, which I restated as "reacting to consumer demand."

To get to what you are saying...is that breweries aren't making a quality product. I think your point is that some breweries are rushing out NEIPAs to capture the trend without the care in quality one would expect from that brewery. I definitely have seen some breweries spew out some NEIPAs that I don't believe were well thought out or in some cases aren't remotely close to the style. If that brewery does make inferior product, I would argue that normal consumer behavior would step in, and eventually that beer would no longer sell as customers will find better alternatives elsewhere.

This has certainly not been the case with Ohio's preeminent brewer of the style in question.

I think I know what you are referring to, and I agree I don't get it.

The second half of my statement goes to that point. I would argue that as of now in a 50 mile (maybe 100) radius there aren't yet a large amount of alternative beers in that style.

DBDA is good. Probably on par with Appervation, tbh, but it won't get the same love bc no Side Project hype...

Mellow bourbon character and the cherries from the port barrels are great.

So I already looked on their website, but just to 100% confirm the brewery doesn't open up until 11AM tomorrow right? Kinda sucks. I was actually going to be crazy enough to get there at open from Cleveland and then drive right back up after getting bottles to be at work at 1:30PM, but if they open at 11 that's definitely not possible. D:
