I don't have any specific examples (not that I was inferring there were any), was just double checking that it was the correct information considering I was about to make a 6hr round trip to your brewery for a beer.

They do a great job keeping their Draft and Bottle lists up to date in their website.

Here's the link to the Taproom

    http://jackieos.com/brews/taproom-bottles-drafts/

Here's the Link to the Brewpub and Public House

    http://jackieos.com/brewpub/draft-list/

If your main goal is to get bottles and cans to go, the the Taproom is your obvious option. They'll have most of their stuff on tap and sell 4oz samples so you'll be able to do some research and pick your favorites. Definitely can't go wrong with Oro Negro or any of their BA stuff. Plenty of good sours available too.

If you'll have time to eat and hang out in Athens for a bit you can hit both locations (only ~3 minute drive apart). Stock up with bottles and drink a few at the Taproom, then head to the Public House for cheese curds and more drafts.

Looks like DBDA will sell out today. I am sure there will be more defined posts from the brewery, but I wanted keep you all posted

Anyone have an idea of a case count on DB app? I am not able to make it in until tomorrow, and just trying to not get my hopes up.

(yes, I saw Brad's comment this morning prior to opening.)

Sorry. I didn't look at the time of that post. (Actually, I could swear I did and it was later. I'm blaming it on working midnights and being in dire need of sleep.)

For anyone that does not know, it isn't.

I am glad that when we do not all have access to a phone or cannot call due to work or otherwise that we can rely on the sarcasm of trolls.

What would be easier? Call the brewery that is selling the beer? Or post it in a forum on BA and wait for someone who may or may not have been there earlier in the day to report back to you? I don't see it as trolling, it's called common sense. Wish more people had it...

And don't give me that zero access to phone non-sense and work non-sense. 99.9% of people now a days have a phone connected to them at all times. As for work, use your lunch break and call. Or call after you get out of work.

Not to mention you had time to post it via a computer/phone. Smh.

When you do consulting, you don't usually have a lunch break. I was on the phone across 22 different calls that spanned a total of 5 hours, most of which was constant, with emails etc. sent in between. Yes, I could post and not call. One of my coworkers was supposed to call me at 10am and called at 3:49, because they had too many fires come up. Work happens. Doesn't seem so crazy to rely on the kindness of strangers IF THEY KNOW. I didn't ask anyone to call, I asked if someone knew. Simple. I called when I had a chance, which was like 5:49pm.

How would calling after work change your decision if you asked on a forum in the middle of the day? And if you were so busy, how could you log onto BA and post, and respond to a "snarky" post? Wouldn't it been quicker and less time consuming to just call the brewery?

Just FYI everyone, you don't even have to call JO's, just message them on Facebook. They responded to me in 2 minutes

This is not after work. I am working both days and nights right now, I am out of town, and I will be working till 2ish AM.

What is with the 3rd degree. I have yet to understand why people get so upset by asking of goodwill of others if they already know the answer.

I am a bit OCD. I get hyped. I research a beer endlessly before I decide to try to trade for it, and if I think I am going to get a chance to try a new limited beer that I have not had before, I enjoy getting excited by watching the count, hoping that it will last long enough for me to make it there. It's that simple. Good will toward others.

I just like to punch holes in "stories". Call them. Or hell, message them as stated earlier. But why not let others do your work...seems lazy. But hey, according to you, you are the hardest worker on the planet and you cannot make a 1min phone call. :astonished:

It is not someone else doing the work for you if they know. That's the crux of all this. Everyone acts like when someone asks the question that they want someone to call. IF you know, and someone asks, post. If you don't, then don't worry about it. I didn't post 5 times, I didn't badger anyone, or act like I am owed anything. I simply asked if anyone happened to know.

Consulting is a weird game. Some days you wish you had work while other days you are drowning in it. The type of consulting I do revolves primarily around 3 months a year. We are in the heat of it. We just came back from holiday. - And I found out at 4pm Wednesday I had to leave yesterday morning to help a client out.

It is what it is and nothing more. Likely, Sunday, I will only end up working like 5 hours.
