This is what I am confused about as well. Sounds fine as long as your tent it up after dark & down before sunrise...(?)

Since Corey has so shamelessly advertised which beers he wants to steal from your cellars, how 'bout if we all list some random things we'd love to see! Optimized tasting. And I'm not talking about all the usual suspects. Here are some beers you can bring for me:
    New Glarus Unplugged Berliner Weiss
    Boulevard Love Child #2
    Maine Lunch
    New Belgium Le Terroir

I was shamelessly advertising the circle of love that is my warm embrace. Which is much more valuable than any beer could be.

Sadly, I have none of those beers, or I would race downstairs & write "Nilllllz" on them.

I've been drinking BA Blackout since around 06. I've never had a sour bottle. That would suck. I can say I wouldn't let them sit more than 3, 4 years at most. Great Lakes filters their stuff so its not a beer that cellars all that well. It really oxidizes fast IMO.

What I do now is I buy my allotment and slowly drink over the coming year. I still have about a 12 pack left from this years. The last bottle I drank was on 8/14/12 (thanks Untappd!) The Four Roses barrels this year has been my favorite so far. Cheers!

I'll be doing the same. I've got some fresh in my fridge and they will need to be drank. PH and Nelson are probably some of the best beers i've ever had. Oh, and Exponential on tap....that too.

Yeah, that was the first sour experience I ever had with BA Blackout, & I've had plenty of bottles, some of it courtesy of you, my friend!

Though my tastes must be different. My sweet spot for BA Blackout is about two years. Every year I have one fresh & think "huh, not as good as last year" & in a year or so I'm back in love. I do agree that 3 years is the max on these bad-boys.

I use T-bones as place holders in long lines. Once used a filet mingon to save my place when I camped out for Pearl Jam tickets.

I'm a big fan of this, I added my gang's info. We'll be near the front of the line, come find us and bring something tasty and we'll be happy to share!

Also, should we start a new thread just for DC's Bottle Share spreadsheet, get it some better attention? And also possibly explain that it is distinctly different from the IP trading spreadsheet.
