Chances of a midweek release? Seems to be every other week or so.

Surprised no one has commented one of the things that stood out to me from this release, to where OH posted this:

"Taters 651 allotments, Twice Baked 525 allotments and Fully Loaded 465 allotments. Wristbands will be handed out as you get in line. Line cutting will not be tolerated"

While I understand this additional information/service was needed for this huge release, doesn't everyone think they should post allotments and carry out line management for EVERY release? (since they obv have the means to do so).

There's a Monkish and Trillium logo on the side of the can.

On a natural timeline from when our culture became just a bunch of people complaining all the time?

Tried all three last night (a friend filled some growlers)... the only one that seemed that notable was Taters (and it tasted A LOT like the Riwaka IPA from a few weeks back). The other two tasted like... OH IPAs. As good as anything I've had from the OH, not as good as anything I've had from Trillium or Monkish. Twice Baked compares to Raining Threes (kinda).

Last time I lined up was the DDH Daydream In Green/Riwaka/DMD release, and I only did so because I was craving some OH beers after being back from Ireland and having a beerless fridge. Other than that release I've been only going if there's a double batch. It's just the whole line culture thing has made me ween off lining up. Seeing people double dip ahead of me and line cutting just pisses me off. Beer shouldn't piss people off, and the competitiveness of it is just really off putting.

I love Other Half, their beers are great. I just can't justify having to line up really early on a Saturday to get some beers. Until they start with mid-week release on a regular basis, I'll just have to sit out for awhile.

Bitburger is on sale for $3.99 a 4 pack at my local store this week. I think I'll be fine lol

I thought twice baked reminded me more of Monkish beers I've had. A bit juicer but it still had that OH aggressive hop bite.

I liked all 3 but the best beer I had last night was Greenpoint's Night Life.

I opted to skip the madness, and ended up with a 4pack of GP Night Life from WFs (along with Grimm Awoogah). Night Life is really good stuff, no line, and a nice looking non-tuber label too.

I like a lot of the conversation that's been on this thread since yesterday. It seems that there is a big number of us who have left releases behind only to realize how much great beer we forgot about or is sitting all around us. I think there is a very large number of people who just jumped on the bandwagon never having grown to actually love different beers and styles that are out there. Thus you get the s**t show that are releases these days.

I try not to judge because if you get joy out of it and it doesn't harm others, go for it. But yesterday's pictures just showed the insanity and all the "hauls" posted on IG are so insane. I'd suggest to anyone to just live off of your all time favorite shelf beers for a week or two and fall back in love with them, its a great feeling. Also much cheaper and less time consuming. Cheers! Sorry for the mini rant.
