Counts / limits for Tuesday (July 11th) release at Fulton. I'm assuming Waxing Poetic numbers will stay as originally planned. Open @ 4pm
    ____________________________________

Waxing Poetic w/ Blueberries and Raspberries - Our tart, infinitely refreshing take on the Berliner Weisse style. This version has been fruited with a very healthy blend of blueberries and raspberries
    - $16.50 x 4pack
    - 4x 4packs per person limit
    - Estimating 120 cases

Nectar and Knife DIPA - Our flagship DIPA features Mosaic and Simcoe. Dry, hugely hop forward beer with an aroma consisting of citrus fruit, resin and pine.
    - $16.00 x 4pack
    - 1 case (6x 4packs) per person limit
    - Estimating 250 cases

They also announced a Crowler release for Fri., July 14th @ Noon at the Downtown (Foushee St) location.

    All Neon Like IPA -
This beer is 100% Galaxy hopped and has pungent passion fruit, tangerine and pineapple aroma with flavors of nectarine and peach.
    - Downtown exclusive Crowler release.
    - I'm not too familiar with their Crowler releases but since they fill Crowlers on-demand at Foushee I would guess most of these will be filled as requested. Maybe they will pre-fill some to speed up the line right a bit though.

So if I roll in like around 5 or 6 to this... should I even bother stopping for cans?

Too much drinking today! I think 5pm will be fine to get both cans.

For the curious, it would appear there is currently not even the beginnings of a line at TBC. This could be both good and bad for those planning to stop by today. Likely good if you plan to be there at opening but bad if you are not expecting a wait later in the evening. Definitely don't think there will be anyone who gets shut out if they stop by today. My guess is people are doing Veil / The Answer early to ensure stuff / limit the wait at opening and then will descend on Triple Crossing later.

Update as of about 15 mins ago.... around 10 cases of Waxing and 100 N&K at Fulton. As soon as Waxing sells out they will do no limit Crowlers at the Downtown (Foushee) location.

Reminder about the Crowler release today at the Downtown - Foushee location beginning at Noon.

All Neon Like IPA - This beer is 100% Galaxy hopped and has pungent passion fruit, tangerine and pineapple aroma with flavors of nectarine and peach.

Also announced another can release next Friday (July 21st) of Clever Girl @ Fulton. I would not be surprised if DDH Clever Girl showed up on tap too.

Counts / Limits for this Friday's release.
    __________________________________________________________________
Clever Girl IPA - This IPA is a sharp counterpoint to the resin, dank citrus of Falcon Smash. It's an incredibly light bodied soft and dry American IPA with impressions of tropical citrus and dark berry floral aromas. Hopped generously with Citra and Mosaic hops.
126 cases on Friday in Fulton with a 1 case limit. $14 per 4 pack.

Alternating Current IPA - We blend of a couple yeast strains that we have been playing around with and hopped it with Amarillo/Mosaic/Simcoe. Stone fruits, melon and nectarine are all over this version.

**About the Alternating Current Series: The Alternating Current IPA series will evolve continually as both new process methods and new hop varieties/ingredients become available. This series will allow us to continue experimenting with hoppy reckless abandon. The only thing constant about this beer will be its drinkable 6.5% ABV**

Forth Wall IPA - Citra/Simcoe IPA with another experimental yeast strain. Candied orange and peach notes.

What's the deal with the tap list at Fulton? I'll be out there this week, and the tap list on the website says they only have 3 beers on tap. Is that typically the case?

That's odd they are that thin on drafts. Maybe they had a busy weekend.

3 cans releasing next Friday, 8/11. Below are details from TBC's post for 2 of them. I think this is a smart moving releasing this much knowing a lot of people will be in town for the Forever Summer @ The Veil.
    _________________________________________
Next Friday, 8/11 we have two new killer DIPA brands launching in cans. We will be shooting for 240 cases of each brand and later this week we will also announce another offering that will be available on 8/11.

Lockout Series: Ivory Tower DIPA 8% - The Lockout Series returns. This time around we decided to throw the book at the hop profile. We are featuring Mosaic, Simcoe, Chinook, Citra and Columbus. Notes of bright citrus, apricot and peaches are showing up big time.

Interstellar Burst DIPA 8% - Galaxy, Citra and El Dorado. Notes of grapefruit, nectarine and dank tropical fruits.

I will be one of those people in town for the forever summer festival, what are these releases normally like? Tired hands scene with chairs and a line wrapped around the corner starting at noon? Or is it a little more relaxed, should be able to cruise in and pick up cans no problem? The yields seem pretty high..

Definitely much more relaxed. Nothing like you see from Tired Hands, The Veil, etc. They open at Noon on Friday and I think I've heard of maybe 30 people at the most waiting when doors open for a couple releases. They usually have a quick lunchtime rush then it gets pretty steady but not the super long lines. Of course next week will probably be an exception with people starting to show up in town for Veil. The last Lockout release with Battle Creek and Valhalla in June both had about 250 cases each when released and sold through about 200 each the first day.

They used to have yields of around 130 cases regularly for can releases but now they are getting a few more 240-260 case counts. I think they got in some new tanks not too long ago that help contribute to that. If limits stick to what they normally do I would expect limits of 1 case per but would not be surprised if they lowered it slightly to accommodate larger beergeek crowds than normal in RVA

Thanks for the feedback, I kinda figured there'd be a good amount of people in from out of town, hope that doesn't bring the craziness along with it..
