Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2017

They didn't have the pineapple TIPA on tap from their last crowler release, nor did they have Lightness of Being/Through the Vines on tap for that bottle release. I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure they didn't have Golden Ho/Rye/Zon on tap from their first bottle release.

I'm disappointed to hear this, since I blindly picked up a few as I've always enjoyed their beers. While I haven't cracked one open yet, I have low hopes based on the comments above and the few (mostly negative) Untappd reviews out there.

 

Has anyone seen any Fulton Hop Star in the southwest metro? I've been looking for the past few weeks and havent found any. thanks

 

I've also seen nothing but bad things in FB groups. The owner tends to be pretty responsive. If a few folks reach out, I'm sure he'd address it.

 

I can second this. In fact he'd probably be willing to split a can with you to test it himself. I had some undercarbed bottles of their 750ml DIPA release and they swapped them out for me.

 

Fulton was surprised by how popular it was. A month ago they said their warehouse was out of it, so if you like it and see it, buy it. They implied that it was done for the year. Too bad. I'd drink that all summer if I could.

 

Canning again in Aug

 

We sat there Saturday and had our first few Wild Mind pints. We liked the ones we tried, but the Guava they were selling in Crowlers was not available on tap. When we tried the Crowler later that night it was a complete dud. Not sure I'm going to head out to grab another one anytime soon.

 

I just got around to opening mine and unfortunately it was the same experience. I'm having a hard enough time getting through the first pour, let alone the entire crowler. I just wrote them an e-mail and hopefully anyone else who has issues does the same.

 

Wild mind does have an account on BA, they are not active however. Dont know the owner except for a few brief conversation, i feel he will take care of this thou.

 

Shorewood Liquor has A is for Apricot, some Hooey, the last run of Blissful Ignorance, Zeelander, and Hopsmack. Also, some B-day Bomb left and 120 Minute.

 

I thought the opposite. Way more juicy juice and dank than the last batch.
Had one before my visit to the two week old brewery in St. Paul and it was better than their offerings. Great beers at that new spot.

 

TGB spotting. Central Ave Liquors says they've been getting shipments every couple of weeks of DH Pseudo Sue, Zeelander and Hop Smack. Had a few bottles of each on shelf tonight.

Disgruntled at SLL according to thier fb page... 70 crowler limit.. j/k (couldn't resist). It doesnt look like they have stupid good but this is probably a sign they will eventually.
