New Long Stride batch is great!

Also wanted to mention that I really like a couple of Lynnwood's new pales, a Motueka one and a Vic's Secret one. About as good as you'll find around here for 5.5% I'd say.

Gonna be in Wilmington on Friday. Does anyone know if new anthem or Wilmington brewing usually have cans on hand?

Thought the new Gang of Blades was horrid. I love Burial, but you can't win 'em all.

Me too. That is one that I shake my head it. And Im a Burial homer as well. I just don't get the "love" for that one. Their other IPA's are much better IMHO.

I'm not a coconut fan but I know a lot of people are looking forward to this in cans. The regular version is very good.

Oh yeah, I buy Surf Wax and Hawkbill pretty much every batch and am always happy (I also like the 6pack of 12 oz cans format more). And I know they know how to make a good dipa because a few of the brewery-only ones I've gotten to try were great. But GOB is not my jam.

Agreed. At $15 for a 4-Pack, that just ain't right. Glad I only bought 1 can as I went into the purchase as a fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me proposition.

Glad I’m not the only one who dislikes the format. I was at Beer Study on Saturday and was on the verge of getting GOB but didn’t want to pay the price for four beers. So I got a six pack of blade and sheath. Sounds like I made the right call.

There might be some 5 thieves left, but the other 2 New Anthem cans are gone. WBC is canning Kitten Biscuit on Thursday, so should be able to get some of that!

Picked up some crowlers of Forgot to Filter and Mugsy's Mangoes Milkshake DIPA from WBC on Sunday. Both were great examples of the respective styles and I'd put them both right up there with the best NEIPAs I've had from outside of NE. No hint of diacetyl whatsoever.

I know it's an IPL, but OHB's Auxo is a damn fine lawnmower beer. Just wish they had cans. Nice kinda minty pear hoppiness. Clean and refreshing.

Anyone have any idea how long the Wilmington brewing cans tend to last. Will be driving into Wilmington tomorrow and would love a few kitten biscuit cans

They're shooting for about 150 cases- you'll be fine. They canned about half that when they released Forgot to Filter and it lasted about 2 weeks. cheers!

Post Apocalyptic Awakening is dope. Slightly under-carbed, but so good.

My vote is for Grove by Brewery Bhavana. If they ever can or even start crowlering their beer, their notoriety will explode. Grove was hazy, but not too hazy. Fruity and perfectly balanced for a DIPA. Loved it, though I would also have to give mention to Turbid by Bond Brothers. Blew me away, so good for a TIPA. I actually liked it better then ImdonewithU and We We Ded Ded by Veil (and I really liked both of those).
