While I will be sitting this week out, I'm curious to see how they spread it out this week, especially with Trendler Pilsner and more HopHands making their way to the General Store.

"And if you want more cans, don't sweat man! We have plenty more cans coming at you this week!"

Lol..now there will be a group of folks with chairs lined up at 11:30am, today through Friday, in anticipation of the beer(s) they may or may not can and release.

If anything it would be a Sunday release. I think they have been asked to not do Friday releases anymore.

Has anyone ever accidentally frozen a TH beer before?

I got a new mini fridge cheap and put my beers in it and the top layer, below the freezer part, wound up being too cold and actually froze the beers in there. I'm guessing it took 48 hours because thats when I noticed. Hop Hands and Alien Church. I've adjusted the temp and put them in the normal fridge to thaw. They weren't rock solid but you could feel ice in em when you squeezed.

I know that NORMAL beers survice this with aroma and appearence/carb intact but i wonder about beers made in the TH/NEIPA way.

    Anyone ever do this?

True, but I could have sworn I also heard that Sunday releases are frowned upon too.

I stopped at Tree House on my way to upstate NY in January and forgot some of my Eureka (I know a blonde ale probably isn't a perfect analogue) in my trunk in single-digit temperatures. Only one explosion casualty. I didn't notice a huge difference taste-wise relative to ones that were properly refrigerated; however, the body of them was a little strange even after they had been properly thawed and refrigerated, didn't quite return to normal.

Hopefully this batch of Pineal is better than the last one from a few weeks ago. I was never a huge Pineal fan but something about that last batch seemed a little off.

I still have cans of Pineal from a release 2 months ago.....it's ok but not one of their best beers. I'll pass this week.

Interesting. I scored a can in a trade two weeks ago and found it very underwhelming. "Generic" was the first word that came to mind. It was a letdown considering that it was my first time trying a Tired Hands beer that wasn't a collab.

Fortunately I'll have the chance to revisit some Tired Hands beers this weekend. Taking a trip out to Philly to visit my brother and it's definitely on both of our lists of spots to visit.

All you chasers I would guess your gonna get some orange creamsicle in cans. Why else post the artwork with it. The only reason they'd need that is for labels. Could be wrong. Just a guess.

I personally thought orange cream shake was one of the worst ones. It had this chalky taste to it that just made it rough to drink after a few ounces.

Anyone at the ferm for lunch? I'm curious if they're pulling a fast one and canning anything else in addition to Pineal for today.

Speaking with one of the parking enforcement people, they were saying they should do Sunday releases... honestly with the parking issues. I don't think the township is happy with any day for the crazy can releases

For those of you expressing your dissatisfaction with Pineal, are you saying that it's a batch to batch issue? Or that you're plainly not a fan of it?
Personally it's one of my favorite Tired Hands beers. Milkshakes be damned.

I don't get the sense that Aardmore wants TH there based on how strict they are about parking and how little parking there is around town.

I mean Tired Hands has to be one of the biggest draws to the town in general at this point right? I understand that I live in the bubble of craft beer but they do a lot of business at both locations even without can sales. Also their parking situation was set way before Tired Hands moved in.

Ardmore definitely wants Tired Hands there, it does bring people to the area and has helped some local businesses. But at the same time, the can releases are not sustainable for that community. In the last year Ardmore lost a few hundred parking spots due to construction of a new apartment building. The parking enforcement near the Fermentaria is based mostly on pressure by other local businesses that are having issues with their non beer buying customers not being able to find parking. It is also an area with rising home costs and values, people that live in that area are not necessarily fans of people and chairs all over the sidewalks for many hours and that cover multiple blocks. It is more of a need to be a good neighbor than anything else. I do think that they have been trying to be a good neighbor in many respects.

Sure. I just don't see local businesses attempting to partner with TH. @NickCaff this makes sense. I definitely sense more hostility than partnership though.

It seems to be a batch to batch issue. Admittedly I was never a huge fan of Pineal (just not a fan of putting honey in beer), but the "good" batches I've had were good. This last batch of cans from a few weeks ago seemed to be a step down. A little thinner and the honey less pronounced.
