Took me a few cans to really get acquainted with Mc2.

This new batch is my first time trying it. Have all batches been the same? A friend says first batches were different in some way. True?

Am really digging this one, it's like a full commitment to late addition hops, and just a hint of bitter in there. I found it kinda unbalanced first tries, but the lack of bitter, and the crisp, not cloying, sweet graininess it has, really let the hops shine. It's like a symphony of tropical hop flavors. Crazy easy drinking too, with a nice clean hop linger.

Assuming there is a release this weekend, around what time do they usually run out of cans? I am sure it all depends on what they release, but on a typical Saturday.

That might just work. I'm going to be heading back to Pennsylvania from Vermont and want to stop at Suarez Family when they open at noon. I should then be able to get to Equilibrium by 1 or so.

I found there to be differences from the batches of Fluctuation and MC2 I had on draft when the brewery first opened versus the first cannings of both. Haven't had this batch of mc2 cans yet, but the first cannings of both fluctuation and mc2 were considerably better than their draft counterparts. Both were juicier and cleaner, with Fluctuation winning a blind taste test against Haze canned on the same day among 4 beer geeks.

A REALLY worthwhile stop, especially for cans (I believe they are available regularly at the brewery) would be Industrial Arts too. Just a thought. Rushing Duck isn't far from Equilibrium either.

There is no can release this weekend. 7/15 is the next one - Fractal Citra/Mosaic.

I filled growlers of Hoptimization 1 and Vulgar Display a couple weeks ago and had both last week. They were both unbelievable. Tree House still makes my favorite NE-style IPA, but these two EQ brews were not far off from them, and I thought they were probably better than anything I've had by Trillium and Other Half. Only had a couple Hill Farmstead IPAs, but they were right there with 'em. Chewy, delicious fruit. Lots of beers say they have it, but they both truly had pillowy mouthfeel. So, so good. Can't wait for another fill. The hype is real!!

Whew. I'm planning to head up on the 15th, and that would have been pretty disappointing if there was no can release that day.

The only time I want to go to EQ is when there isn't a can release.

I hate to be that guy but if I arrive at 12 should I be good on cans/bottles?

    Thanks!

No, but saying you hate to become something that is so easily avoidable means you do not hate or apologize whatsoever. Same exact page.

Done and done. I swear every mc2 I drink tastes better than the last one. What an easy drinking hop masterpiece.
