I think trolling would be claiming you have the facts and not posting them in a discussion...

 

Because they are better. Its not like its a huge difference.
Drink 2 16oz vs 3 12's.

 

Also. How slow are you drinking beers that 16oz is going stale.

 

This seems like a troll post, but I have a feeling it's not.

While I won't claim to having the beer go stale, a 12 ounce definitely stays at a temperature I prefer to drink it for a longer period (I'd presume this is the case for most everyone, if we're talking about APA's/IPA's). In particular, if I'm drinking outdoors in the summer and the sun is out. I noticed this pretty much all weekend while drinking outside with the great weather we had.

 

Is there any more information available yet about this year's The Big North? I've got my tickets and am super excited for it

 

Not yet. I'd expect info to announced week of, as that's when the plans will be finalized. It's tough to announce stuff before you're sure it will be implemented.

 

I'm really digging the Deep Space. Hell they could even call it Ninja v Navaja. Really taste like an imperial NvU. You Pipework fans go get some of this this (half acre fans too)

NvU is 8%, DS is 10%. DS is also much more amber in color.

 

Not sure I get the NvU comparison. It's got a lighter backbone than deep space.

I'm not the biggest deep space fan. A bit too malty for my tastes. I prefer my IPA's on the dry side.

However, considering most of Half acres offerings fall into this category, it makes sense to have something with a little more malt available on shelves.

 

But NvU is still an imperial IPA is my point. Granted not much higher than some standard IPAs, but still.

That's my problem with HA impy IPAs though. I do enjoy them but can't drink more than one. They are way too alcoholic and syrupy for my liking. But still enjoyable in small doses.

 

Anybody have more info on the release this Friday "Now & Then"?

They seem to have forgotten to describe the beer....

 

HA mentioned beer details will be shared later. Another great label imo.
