Fair point but that was for the last release so I wanted to check in again. I'll just try to get there as early as possible. Have a good one.

Absolutely right. My main barometer is OH and those release lines vary given what is being released so I figured I would ask. Anyway, didn't mean to sidetrack the thread. See everyone tomorrow morning.

 

Anyone care to guess if this will be more or less popular than prior releases? Early signs are this Fractal is better than the others, but not quite up to the praise of MC^2. So somewhere between Vulgar Display (pretty tame) and MC^2?

 

My guess is more busy than last one. Purely a guess, but seems to be a groundswell of increasing hype for these guys.

 

Agreed, it is only a matter of time. I went to the Vulgar release and got there at 10 which was a bit earlier than needed, but imagine I'd be further back for this release at the same time (but still plenty safe of not getting shut out). It's a haul from the city, so getting there later which a chance of nothing would be a waste of a day (mostly).

 

Cans were gone before I got here at 1.

 

I arrived right around 11:30 and seemed like they were running low by the time I made it to the register (12:30ish)

 

Got there at 12pm and was able to get TABAP, which was the reason I came, and a couple 4pks. Really enjoyed their setup inside so I'll hopefully make a trip back. Food looked like it was pretty solid.

 

Cans of Fractal are drinking so nice right out of the gate. Perfect summer IPA. Anyone know what they have coming next?

 

Pete and Ryan both said Hoptimization 2 on the EQ fb trading page.

 

They re-released some Fluctuation cans yesterday to go. 2-4pks per person. No idea if they made it through business, they told me it was going to be close. Hoptimization rumored to be the can this weekend

 

Hopefully gets confirmed today, but Hoptimization batch 2 (Citra/Mosaic) and possibly Casey Apricot bottles for 7/29. The Casey is fire, taste tested it in line on 7/15.

 

There was an apricot casey available at the opening of the grille, right?

 

Drove down from Buffalo to NYC yesterday, realized (too late) I drove past this place. Maybe on the way back Sunday.

 

Just to clarify as a STL person who's used to Side Project releases: It looks like I'll be at the release on Saturday. Is it a "you have to be in line at 11:30" type thing, or can you show up and still get some as long as it hasn't sold out?
