Any idea when the mikkeller beer geek breakfast and boogoop will make it on the shelves?

 

This month is the rumor! Just keep checking our FB, I will have it SOON. I hear around 2nd week of March!

 

Will Blanche every see OKC?

 

That's weird. Tony from McNellies said they would be tapping it next Tuesday. No offense, but I hope he's right and Tim is wrong (since I work Thursday nights).

 

*Update* Riggo is correct. Next Tuesday at 5pm. I will not be there. frowny face.

Are any liquor stores in OKC doing something similar to beirgarten aka posting when/what they get new?

 

Not too my knowledge I wish that there was a chain of sorts with Freddy and the Biergarten here in the city, it would make my life much easier.

 

I totally agree with this! Maybe he could expand to Lawton as well.

 

Haha, Hey guys I'm only ONE guy!! It's a full time job knowing about these beers. The problem with Oklahoma is that there are too FEW involved owners, and even less BEER-GEEK Owners. Managers try, but can only do so much. It isn't their store and it isn't their money. If I want to spend 5K on beer and tear a wall out...well I can do what ever the hell I want. I really do not care about any other product in my store more that beer. Bourbon, Rum and Scotch are a close 2nd, but beer is #1 at The 'Garten. The number also gets lower when you account in Education. Sure your store can have beer, but do you really know what you have? Do you know how it was brewed? Do you know it's history? Can you talk "Geek?" This career is not something I just do Mon-Fri 10-9, I live, eat and sleep beer and it's culture. I will always be involved in its progress even if I no longer own a store. This is the best substance on earth, and people need to realize it. I am sure we will have some other stores copy us some day soon, with what we do and how we do business, but we will always be the first that showed Oklahoma what a TRUE beer store is. Cannot wait for the Wheat Wine! I had a nice lil chat with JD about it a few months ago
at Cheever's. Glad to see that it has been in the works for so long/taking their sweet sweet time with it.

Also, had a Revival Red yesterday. Seems better this year, but I am sure it's
because it is so delectably fresh. To be completely frank, though, I really just
love that it is one season closer to more Arrowhead!!!!

Any place in OKC that sales single cans of Tallgrass beer?

 

You can get them at Freeman Liquor Mart on 4401 N. Western, they have Tallgrass as well as a nice selection of single bottles there.
