I know people hear "waiting in line" and scoff. But I'm going to be hanging outside with some friends and sharing some bottles for a few hours. Not something I would consider a wasted morning.

I'm just wondering if it's been said that you can bottle share. I've heard it mentioned a couple times, but didn't think I saw it mentioned by Shaun.

Hmm I wouldn't share unless given the go sign from More. I went to Transient's Kentuckley release and I saw cops in parking lots watching. Not worth it. Risks outweigh rewards for brewery and yourself.

I'm with you there. I don't get some folks that just assume you should be able to share. It really is strange that people think they can just share beers in a public space.

Not trying to be disrespectful as I value your opinion, but if Shaun didn't want bottle sharing wouldn't he have addressed it? He knows his crowd. My personal opinion is he'll say something if it becomes a problem like at RAM

Drinking in public, unless specifically addressed and allowed should be a 'no-no'. I guess my opinion is that I shouldn't assume i can do something at a business because they never said I couldn't.

Drinking in Rams parking lot is way different than drinking on Villa Ave in downtown Villa Park. I'd be hesitant to share bottles, the fuzz goes up and down that street constantly.

Also, A.A. place literally 10 feet away, probably not the classiest thing to be pounding beers at 8am in front of recovering alcs.

Neckbeards will be neckbeards. Agree with it being disrespectful to share without it being stated that you're allowed. Cops can easily shut that down though.

I also think a decent part of the crowd wouldn't show up (at least as early) if you weren't allowed to share.

Half dozen losers...I mean "people"...were already in line at 6:30 as I drove by on my way to work. You're all fucked in the head.

That being said, if any of you losers (Trump voice) wanna trade one of each More can for a mixed 4-pack (Boss Tweed, M43, Mind to Devour and Gummy Banter) PM me.

It's against the law to drink in public. The answer is you aren't allowed do it - even if Shaun had said otherwise.

It's also against the law in New York City but I've drank (and people drink every single week) in the Other Half line and cops drive by and don't give a shit, as long as no one is being a huge asshole.

I've driven drunk before, but everything was fine. Therefore it's ok to drive drunk.

That's not entirely true. Cops give quite a few tickets at OH releases. That said, if you aren't an idiot and know how to behave, you likely won't have any issues

Like I said, if you're not being a huge asshole, you're okay.

My good buddy has gone to probably 50 releases, drank at every single one, and never had a problem.

Well I doubt a cop would let you go if they caught you driving drunk so it's not really an apples to apples comparison, but nice try.

Plenty of places around the country and world don't have open container laws and it's not anarchy there. Sharing a few beers with my friends on the sidewalk isn't all that different than sharing a few beers with neighbors on a driveway, as long as I'm not an asshole.

Actually it's a lot different. Private vs Public property.

Drove by about 8:10, maybe 3 dozen people in line and a few cops hanging out there too
