    Line went really smoothly. Got cans and got in the tap room and am waiting for a beer. Managed to share with some people outside without the world ending.

    In and out within 2 minutes for cans. No line. Looked like there was at least 100 4 packs left of each style. Again, what wad the point for people to line up at 6 am? I think sometimes, albeit rarely, we pver estimate the Chicago craft beer scene and the "madness" level. Cheers everyone

    I find it inconceivable that 400 people have been through there in an hour. I'm sure people are double-dipping though.

    There was about 200 people in line before they opened so it's not totally unfathomable. But I will never count out double dippers.

    I checked the ISO:FT thread and at least for now everyone seems content to drink there beers or they are to trashed to post from the bottle share and having some drafts.:rolling_eyes: Also good to know it was not madness and mayhem over there.

    I was definitely guilty of overestimating the scene this time. But I feel like you'll win more often than lose if you assume all Chicagoland releases will be massacre

    Seems kinda silly to lift the limits so early. I get trying to sell out, but you know they're going to sell out regardless, and it's in their best interest to get product in as many hands as possible.

    Everyone in a bottle or can line has friends that couldn't go that would like whatever you're generally waiting in line for. There isn't a lot of nobility to be found in being a me-first DB. Good for your friends, bad for everyone else.

    First off ...

    LMAO.

    Second, congratulations to all - I feel like More has really arrived - no, not because they opened today, but because one of their beer releases coincided with a several page BA argument over some issue tangentially related to the release. Thats how you know a brewery has really arrived.

    But seriously, I am surprised to see the can limits dropped so quickly. I would have thought he'd keep the 1 4-pack per to have cans last longer through the weekend. Buuuttt, given Shaun's history with dealing (or not dealing) with double dipping at his releases, I shouldn't be surprised. I'm looking forward to stopping in there in a few weeks when the craziness dies down. This is much closer to my in-laws than I initially thought so thats cool.
