    Haven't had Anchor porter in a bit, for what I remember I liked it too, but Founders must be a tad better. In fact I haven't bought anything from Anchor in months since I've had all that seemed available here so... which is about a dozen (''only'').

    I've shared this beer with a lot of BA's over the last year or two. Believe me when I say that I wish I could share it with everyone of you IPA lovin' crazies out there. One beer I will sorely miss when all is said and done. Cheers!

    Though I agree with Founders being a tad better, I feel that Anchor is more of a wonderful representation of a classic English version, where as the Founders is a touch more "American". I'd suggest Deschutes Black Butte Porter if you've never had it. Side by side, it edges Founders out by just a hair to me. I believe @cjgiant as well, but don't want to put words in his mouth. Or anything else for that matter. Cheers!

    Thanks! Let's be real, they are our better halves. Anyone who will put up with us taking pictures of beer, talking about beer, dreaming, thinking, and planning vacations around beer, is an exceptionally patient and loving person.

    Or mentally unstable themselves, which would actually make more sense :wink:.
