Awesome, awesome release last night. Made it there in time after work and it was so easy, was even able to grab dinner and some beers on draft as well as cans.
This batch of Radio Swan is unreal.

I was blown away by it when it came out, haven't tried it lately with FR's NEIPA game taking all my money. If you can get that stout into a barrel in time for Fobab....

Edit: Also, FR's space is just a good space. I love the bar, it reminds me of a hipper version of GI Clybourn's bar (which I hope InBev didn't completely mess up and kill with the renovation, not to mention the icky feeling I have about supporting an InBev company, albeit at the local level)....

Wasn't able to make this release, so I'm holding out for distro it seems. Anyone know the stores that got Snoochie boochies last time around?

I know Binny's on Grand got a super small amount of it. I had just missed it from there when I went in as the guy informed me they got a very small amount and it was gone real quick.

Not sure if they are on the list for Radio Swan.

I was able to get some last time at Beer Temple and I believe Capone's got cans as well.

If I remember correctly, you're in the Wicker Park area. Garfield's got Snoochie cans.

You are correct. I live near FR, so I was bummed I couldn't make the release.

I'm hoping Puerto Rican food and liquors gets it for selfish reasons, as I prefer to give my money to that place whenever possible.

Do they have good beer there? I live in Wicker and have only been to Liquor Park. Would love a good beer store. Is Garfields good as well?

I have been seeing a bigger trend in smoothie-style sours (berliner weiss/gose adding lactose and fruit). @BJP is that something you could see Forbidden Root playing with?

I believe Liquor Park on North Avenue got a few cases as well.

    Those Veil goses...

If FR did anything like that, they'd own this city.

A bunch of really good stores didn't get Snoochie. It seems like they intentionally didn't distribute to stores near FR like Grand and Western and Puerto Rico. Hopefully that changes this time around.

I've heard nothing but good about PR Food and Liquors; I have a friend that loves the place and its owner.

I was more thinking of The Answer and Burley Oak, but Veil I hear kills it at well (can't speak from experience).

I'll speak to Garfield's as I live around the corner and may have been their first customer, so they treat me well. They seem to have a higher focus on spirits than beer, but still have a decent selection. Not on the level of Binny's, Beer Temple, and other elite level bottleshops, but decent if you're in the neighborhood and just want something out of the cooler (unlike Liquor Park's limited cooler space). They don't sell Spiteful or Mikerphone, but do carry FR, HA, PW. I always check dates before purchasing there.

Buddy of mine that lives by PR speaks very highly of them too. Hoping to hit there and Beer Temple when I'm up next week.

Yep, they are great. However, you have to kiss up to the owner a bit if you want the good stuff (think Bourbon County varients).

Had a very smooth/easy/enjoyable time at the release yesterday, had a Atomic Child at the bar while I waited for 6pm and really enjoyed it, can't wait to get into my RS cans. The $5 for the glass was a steal, would have paid more especially with the profits from non-consumables going to charity.

@BJP I am curious as to what you were up to with the Snoochie can you shared with the gal from MIkerphone, looked like you cut it with a razor to pour out the last few ounces?
