I emailed asking to switch my time to my wife's time or vice versa and they started they are unable to switch time slots for ticket winners. Hopefully you have better luck then me.

Appreciate the input! Sounds like a lot of fun. Just curious, are PR, TGB, or C&C kid friendly? Expecting this to be a zoo, so assuming not, but as it sits now, we'll have kids with us .... wish my parents would have taken me to big beer releases!

 

PR and TGB are. I've never seen kids at C&C, but I'd leave that answer to DecorahNM. Their atmosphere is kid friendly.

It will be a zoo, and I'd probably avoid bringing kids if I were in your shoes, but the breweries are definitely family friendly.

 

From my experience at the C&C share last year, I would avoid kids there as well. Nothing to do with the place, just a zoo as mentioned.

Absolutely. And that was 500 and 1,000 people respectively. Not 2,000.

Also, the PR Anny was a little busy for my toddler last year. That was with maybe 250 people there (probably closer to 150 if o had to put money on it). Double, triple quadruple+ that and I don't think you even want to bring a teenager.

 

No luck on having them hold my allotment until after the funeral. Also, not able to transfer to another individual.

I left my son and wife at home for last year's MD release. Then KBBS they hung out in Decorah but came to the C&C share later on which actually worked out as people were heading to TG at that point. This is going to be even more people, but we are all coming although staying at Winneshiek so it will be easy for him to hang out there. Hoping Grandma will babysit though.

 

Side note to md. How's is the latest batch of Sosus?

 

Does anyone know if TG does anything special for Nordic Fest? Or of any other good spots in decorah? I'm running Bix and finally convinced myself to drive the 2.5 hrs north and stay the night.
