I feel like you guys really get me.

Also, re: AoTT, I'm not directly below them, they are around the corner, but they have long held down good food combined with great taste in beer. Art of the Table will hopefully be one of the places that ends up carrying Floodland beer in 2018. Re: Altura, fuck yes, it's an absolute favorite of mine. I don't know them but I have had nothing but extraordinary experiences eating there on the special occasions that I have had the chance to go all in on the tasting menu.

Hopefully my Seattle zip code is enough to get me in. Signed up for mailings a few days ago.

I got a really good question over email, which was essentially whether or not two folks in a household should sign up for two memberships to be able to both attend a tour.

The details for tours aren't locked down, but members can absolutely sign up to bring a guest for those. There will be a flat fee for the tasting, and it's probable that I'll be able to allow more than 1 guest per member, so for example if you're best friend and her boyfriend are in town and want to come by you can sign up for 4 people and bring them. That's my goal at least, tour availability will be seasonal and will depend on my having some part time help, because right now it's mostly a one man operation with my buddy Jonathan helping out a day a week.

In my opinion, Adam is creating something very special with Floodland and there is no doubt he is an amazing brewer/yeast cultivator/blender/barrel wrangler. I look forward to the journey.

Excited to hopefully make it in the club; I've become quite fond of the mixed culture/sour/fruited beers recently , well after Adam left HM so have never tried his beer. Hoping to change that!

You've probably had something from HM that he was involved in.

Yeah, I suppose with how long some of these beers were fermenting, that's true.

I tell you what.....if Floodland produces anything close to Holy Mountain or (yes I'll say it) De Garde, those of us committing early will look like geniuses.

People complaining or skeptical of paying a new brewery offering a pre-production club membership, should take a look around the country at various "Whale" releases. Um, no thanks! I've had enough of the crap shows at HM releases, Fremont, and other places around the country.

I personally have a gut feeling about Floodland. Maybe he doesn't produce world class brews out the gate (maybe he does). If not, big whoopie! I'm putting my dollars behind a guy with a proven track record of skill and knowledge. All the other stuff required to become a top notch brewery, should develop over time by doing his own thing.

Signed up, looking forward to trying these out!

On another note, this VineSpring platform is awful, and I most definitely don't trust them with my CC information. Sending them an email now.

    Got mine. Happy days.

And it's not FOMO. I love being able to support my community directly. It doesn't feel the same when you're sending money cross country to some place you might never actually visit. At least for me.

OK, I really don't understand this. I received the email at 10:11 am. Finished the registration process by 10:21. Recieved the message "sold out".

Timelines don't seem right. I kept attempting to sign up from Mobile phone. I highly doubt this would be a factor. So, the membership actually sold out in 10 minutes? Again, makes no sense.

Stunned and disappointed to say the least.

I left for one hour, came back and email was 48 minutes old. Got in 6 minutes before the sold out email, which probably took some amount of time to write.

Did the first one end up in spam?
Pretty sure it wasn't sold out by 10:21. That's strange.
