WFP has really fallen off a cliff. Tap list is embarrassing (though cheapAF) and their beer shelves are half bare, let alone haven't ng anything worth grabbing..

I've barely used Untapped, but don't quite see where a current taplist would be. Any help appreciated.

In the search area, make sure to search for it as a venue and not a brewery. Once you are on that page, there will be a menu button and that will show you the current list.

Sounds like it's joined WF Foggy Bottom. I hadn't been there for about 3 months, finally go back and 95% of the stock in the upstairs fridge looks identical to when I last saw it. Too much shelf space devoted to the same 5-6 breweries.

50 cases w/3 per person limit of RAR Pulpsicle sold out in less than a minute. Damn.

I've been amazed by the disparity between WFP, and say, CBC offerings. I haven't patronized either within the the past 6 weeks or so, but it seems to me that one guy is clearly working harder than the other.

That said, with the relatively close options that we have for quality brewery only releases, I don't see a reason/need to walk into a liquor or grocery store in the District any longer, regardless of how good the selection is.

Perhaps true if you own a car and don't like sours.

Gotta have wheels (rentals count too!), but on my rotation is: RAR, Aslin, The Veil, Triple Crossing. My threshold is two hours or less one way.

If I'm not mistaken, you've made similar treks in the past.

Oh definitely, but I only have time for that maybe once a month or less. I live within walking distance of CBC H St. and their selection lately has been killer and making me question whether or not I need to travel far for good beer.

To each, their own. I was in NE, but moved right before CBC opened. I used to drive around the city chasing beers, but I prefer to plan for a trip and allocate one block of time to grabbing a larger quantity of beer rather than going at it piecemeal.

I'm on a similar frequency with the journeys but I also cheat a bit as I'm in NYC once a quarter. Anyway, that's enough to keep my fridge consistently stocked.

Along with the Prarie beers, wow. If only it was 30 degrees out and not 95. I just can't drink imperial stouts this time of year.

Yeah, I hear you loud and clear but the AC is nice inside and it pairs really well with the brussel sprouts, lol

    Hi All,

Hope all is well! With DC Beer week at the end of August and Goose Island Migration week coming up - you guys suspect any Vanilla Rye sitings at TW for raffle?

JMO, but I really don't get why people are looking for VR at this point other than to tick it. The beer was an adjunct stout brewed in 2014 and is almost certainly well past its prime.

Eh I just cracked one two months ago and it was still one of,if not the best, stout I've ever had.
