Pumpkinator countdown

I was one of the ones that offered to help you out but now it looks like I am in the same boat as you. If anyone is willing to part with an extra bottle or two for $ please let me know also. I will be offshore for the release of this beer and my wife said she isn't going to go and fight the crowds for me to get some. I cannot really blame her I guess, because she is going to have our two year old niece with her.

 

Just spoke a buddy that works at an HEB, If they get it in Today or Tomorrow I'll be able to beat the crowds.

 

Due to Silver Eagle's delivery schedule, Gabriel's will be getting Pumkinator on Tuesday the 16th instead of the 15th. We're expecting 8 cases with the possibility of a second shipment on Friday if there's still some left (which apparently was the case last year).

 

You still interested in splitting a case up? Because I'd be all over that.

9 bottles, 3 of us - 3 each....I'm down unless we want more?

 

I'm definitely down for a three way split. I would be more than happy with three bottles. The only issue, as I was telling HoustonZ33 is that I am offshore. I can transfer someone the money if they have a paypal account, because I won't be home until the 29th.

 

Ill give you guys a huge heads up. Specs midtown is getting.... 100 cases!!!

This year I believe we will be able to purchase half a case each - (6 bottles), this is what I heard from someone on the beer department, so don't quote me if you get there and can only buy 4.

 

Holy mother of god. Guess we know who is getting EVERY bottle of Pumpkinator.

 

Well Specs Smith usually gets more than any other Store in the Houston Area. Probably all of Texas.

 

And they also sometimes are the ONLY ones to get bottles of certain items.

 

Wait I know this is off topic, but I was also planning on picking up Bodacious while I was there. Did it get stalled?

 

No fucking way Specs Smith St is getting 100 cases of ANYTHING at one time. Let alone Pumpkinator, a gold medal award winning very limited release Imperial Stout

 

I don't think its gonna be a prob getting pumpkinator this yr - saw the distributors list of which store is getting pumpkinator and how many -in Austin area...

I would definitely believe Spec's is getting 100 cases this year.

WFM Kirby got 20 last year, which means specs got at least 40 or 50 last year.

Well the way St.Arnold decides they want to sell their seasonals or who gets what amount is based on the amount St.Arnolds they sell throughout the year and of course Smith Street sells a crapload. That and the fact that media goes there for releases might have to so something with it. I know when I took a tour with Brock he was laughing at how On DR releases Specs on Smith answers the phone by saying, "Thank you for calling Specs, Are you calling about the St.Arnold's Divine Reserve?"

 

"Laugh hard, It's a long way to the bank..."

 

So only 200 people are getting Pumpkinator from Specs Midtown?
