When it was acquired, Ballast Point was much, much bigger than OH is (or likely will ever be).

Which is why I'm at least thankful that they do a great job getting their beer on tap throughout the city. Sure, the high prized collabs I'll miss out on, but standing in line for 5 hours is just not something I'm willing to do every weekend. Agree with everything you said, though

Yeah. That's the best thing about the NYC beer scene (at least when compared to some other areas) -- you can generally find everything on tap at local bars.

True, but quality wise OH blows away BP. Not sure if OH would sell, but I am sure their valuation now is huge.

So all cans completely gone right? Headed into town tomorrow through Tues. Guess I'll just have to chill in the taproom tomorrow

That's what I thought I'm happy to have just about anything on tap.

So how is Coir Boiz tasting anyways? Reviews on Untappd seem lukewarm.

Shocking twist: best OH beer of the week was the Carson Daly one

I think the consensus is if you like coconut flavor, you will like Coir Boiz.

Me? I like coconut. Thought my first can was delicious AF. Like most OH beers, it will be even better in a week or 2.

How does it stack up against Smooth Beats Miami?

I'd say it's about on par. A tad more intense given the ABV. Very natural Coconut flavor though.

Wasn't Tremendous Ideas brewed at Cloudwater? Maybe they're doing it again here
