    No one thinks they're creepy.

FWIW I enjoyed my experience at BT last weekend but I wasn't blown away. The 3 IPAs they had on tap were good, but not great. I'd prefer Dreamyard and most Lupulin or Forager IPAs to anything I had at BT. I thought purple lamborghini was good but needed more acidity to balance the huge amount of fruit. The fruit flavor was great but I think they added so much it overwhelmed the base beer and become too sweet. A good fruited berliner IMO needs to maintain the assertive acidity and dry finish of the style while showcasing the fruit and for me this didn't quite work.

Don't go to Forager for crowlers then. You'll have a heart attack.

So Barrel Theory is only filling their own glass? Thinking about stopping in on Sunday.

I stopped by BT last week, for the first time. Did anybody else think the coffee beer tasted a lot like Surly's Coffee Bender?

As of now they aren't filling any glass. Might change soon though.

Do they have room for expansion? More fermenters and a canning line?

I definitely can't see room for a canning line in there unless they have some walled off space they aren't using yet and didn't inspect the brew area to see how much space they had.for extra tanks. I don't know if that's the reason they can't produce enough beer to keep the lines full or fill growlers yet more so than man power since they put out a post earlier this week looking for a lead brewer and said in the social media post advertising it "so we can brew you more beer" or something along those lines.

I got the last pour of drop tops earlier today, thought it was delicious. Didn't have a great nose on it but taste was delicious. Hope they brew this again soon. They were brewing some kind of IPA, the place smelled like heaven.

The new NE IPA (tear drops) was great, better than the last. More weedy and tropical than rain drops. I prefer mosaic and was told this has more mosaic vs. citra than the previous batch.

Also had the NE Pale Ale which was nice.

Purple Lamborghini wasn't tart enough for a Berliner for my tastes. Overall still a very good experience.

Anyone here in the member society? I'm curious about the "really cool info" they e-mailed to members.

Would love to get a growler today but probably won't be any left around 2-3 when I can head down.

Just curious, what was/is the price tag on the Tear Drops growlers?

Pretty sure they were $13. $9 for the beer, $4 for the glass

Wow, this place is packed! Parking was horrible, even more so for someone not used to dt St. Paul. They have very few Tear Drops growlers left.

I showed up right after they opened and there was a line out the door for those donuts which were a fantastic surprise of a treat for someone who initially showed up just to grab a couple growlers to go. And because I didn't want to pay to be in and out I parked probably 5 blocks away at the first empty meter I found.

I drove around and around to find a street parking spot. I am horrible at parallel parking, and I have a big car. I just paid to park in the lot across the street.
I will, for sure, be back. I'm just not good at driving downtown.

As an added bonus, I finally drove by the WOB in St. Paul. Again, I'd have fun with parking.
