To me, it tastes like an awesome shandy shake hybrid.

That doesn't make sense in Brooklyn. It doesn't make sense anywhere. OH enables this by allowing a case per person/per style and only a couple hundred cases per beer. And the funny thing is most of the people I've met first hand lining up at 6am are much closer in proximity to TH than OH. I wouldn't act as if the chair thing is some kind of symbol of civility.

edit: It would probably happen in Ardmore too if TH only brewed 200 cases and allowed a case per person. Instead they have a Sunday release with 726 allotments.

That's actually a pretty good call there.

Double Shakes are gonna hit 30 bucks/4 in a year I believe.

Either that or they'll start selling them by the single can for $8-$10 a can.

Anyone else get a couple oxidized Pineals? Here's 2 separate cans from this last batch. Tasted malty and off. I assume it's oxidized, anyway.

The darker color of the beer on the right sure is an indicator of oxidation. I presume the darker colored one tasted malty in comparison the the lighter colored one?

I have two cans of Pineal that were canned on 7/12/17 but I have not 'popped' them open yet.

    Cheers!

Yes, sorry, the one on the left tasted good/normal. I should also note that it was not a one-off - I have found 2 like that so far. No idea if they were from the same 4pack though as I break mine up when they go in the fridge.

Also Lemon Meringue is right behind double vanilla for my favorite.

Also also, just had my last trapper pie and this beer aged well. Almost drinking like a "blonde stout" with spices etc. I think I would rate this higher now, just blends really well.

I really loved that beer and wish they would do another can run of it...

Well the $24 4-pack has been breached by a non-milkshake. We all knew this was coming.

This might be the start of less madness. If they can keep up this pace. No one can afford to but full allotments of that much beer a week at that cost, unless they are reselling I guess (if you're doing this stop buying the beer please).
