So what's our theory on when they are dropping BA mexi cake without letting anyone know?

The last two releases were smooth and ran perfectly, there's not a chance. Follow them on Facebook and make the drive regardless, the draft list is worth it alone.

I live in Hendersonville NC so I'll totally make the drive this year. I missed the brown paper tickets by 20 minutes last year.

Approx. when has it dropped in the past? (Not to say it will drop at the same time again this year-just curious on potential timeline.)

    October 3, 2015 and November 5, 2016.

Quite a while to wait still. Tickets were like two weeks before the event both times.

You're a bit early to start this :relaxed: It's released somewhere between end of September and beginning of November.

Thoughts on Rinse and Repeat Galaxy. I was underwhelmed when I had it on draft the day after it was released. It has that green hop taste. I have one can I might open tomorrow to see if it has changed much. Having said that its way better than three claw and hopefully Westbrook can keep improving, they have a lot of competition with Edmund's Oast brewery opening soon and Charles Towne Fermentory.

Cake is gone. I was there yesterday and heard that they sold out about a week ago. This was the longest run of Cake at the brewery that I can remember.

Does anyone have a pic of the bottle list and prices of the vintage Mexican Cakes for on-site consumption? If there are any left that is.

    Thanks.

Which ones do you want to know? Bourbon's are about $75, DB is $100, RW is $75, Pappy and Reserva are $200, Maple is $150...they have all but JD and AB.

Reserva is the only one you need to try if you've not.

Thanks. Riserva and the other upper echelon variants were the ones I was curious about. Might be making a trip down in the near future and hoping this is still around if I do. Thanks for the heads up.

My gut knee-jerk reaction is to say, "Ofcourse it will still be around - reserva is $200 a pop." I am curious how many have been sold though. I guess all those people that pay secondary market prices have the ability to, so I guess they probably sell on average 1-3 a week? Although, I'm not taking into account their aweful (read: limited) hours.

I really enjoyed the pappy variant when it was $100 a bottle.

Does this mean they sold the $1000 AB bottle?

I think it is still there, but I am told that someone has said they are coming to drink it and a lot of the others while he's there...not sure if that happened or not...

Thanks to @rbradley for sending up some Galaxy IPA! Hiked some into the Jewel Glacier last for some camping and IPAing last night. Delicious!

Was announced a few weeks back but Westbrook posted the label on Instagram today. Looks like Citrus Ninja DIPA is getting a reboot as Citrus Redacted and will be packaged in 16oz cans and mentions a hazy appearance.

Loving Two Claw and enjoyed Rinse and Repeat. Hope these can releases keep coming.
