    If this is true, I'm hyped af. StF was one of my favorite Stasis beers from 2016 that took me by surprise. Didn't have any expectations before buying, was extremely pleased at how delicious it came out.

    The hype for those magnum FO bottles is purely for dick swinging. It's the exact same batch as the 500ml bottles. So stupid.

    Damn those big FO bottles are super cool looking. Love the wax stamp on them. Would love to even get an empty of one just to hav ea great conversation piece.

    Or, you know, just talk about how they existed at one time, and here one is. That or the hot women I guess, but don't tell my wife that.

    "Oh, like Guinness then? I hear those dark beers are heavier on calories. hmmm.. yeah. Okay, didn't want to recycle the bottle then? It'll give you, like, 10 cents"


    riveting conversation. More than anything, it's just dick swinging. let's just admit that to ourselves.

    When it comes to calling anything a "conversation piece," there's always the implication of dick swinging. Even more so in the beer world.

    sorry if this may be a stupid question but I would like to drink the FO bottle correctly. I was able to score a FO bottle at Rameriz Liquor in Pico Rivera. I know stouts get better if you let them warm up a bit while drinking, more flavor profiles come out, but to start what would be the best temp to serve my FO?

    Take it out of your fridge and let sit out room temp for 15-20 mins. I enjoy them at 55-60 deg

    For imperial stouts, the conventional wisdom is to serve between 50-55 degrees. But if you don't have a cellar that's keeping your FO in that temperature range, then just take it out of the fridge and let it sit for 15-20 minutes before you intend to drink it. Pour and enjoy.

    Drink it?! LOL. People actually drink FO?

    Kidding, I also do the pull out of fridge, rest for 15, and pour method. I even enjoy it more at the end when it's damn near room temp. And no that's never a stupid question, enjoy the beer!

    Typically, everyone is giving you great advice. Personally, I liked the FO I had on tap colder than when it warmed, and I felt the opposite about number crunch. I think it was because the vanilla started to overpower the beer as it warmed That is just me and my personal preference, I say taste it cold and then taste it as it gets warmer. There is no right or wrong answer, it all depends on what you like.

    So I know someone mentioned they "know a guy" (brewer) and expect the August release to be StF...but I'm getting anxious to hear what's next, officially.

    I've lost track of their "release calendar" or cadence, so-to-speak. Do they normally announce the next month's release (August) at the end of the pick-up window for the previous month (FO)...or is it the following week, after the pick-up has completed? Thanks for any info.

    It depends on when the beer is ready, but it probably won't be until FO is done with. I'd also expect them to take a day and close the tasting room and let the employees do something cool, they did that for some other release.

    They Do drink them but...Many people do a lot more bragging about having them versus actually drinking them. :wink:

    everyone knows that the proper way to drink an FO is to put it into a hop baller glass and then youtube yourself chugging it just to show how much of an Alpha Male beer god you are.
