this reads like a bad ben shapiro tweet.

then they should just not have limits. have a group of people come up in a uhaul and just buy 30 cases and be done with it. theyll just be buying beer for their community so its cool.

promoting #linelife and hemorrhaging lines for the sake of hype is not the only way a craft beer business can go operate and make money.

hell just sell out to InBev for half a billion because thats what drives craft beer.

Haha everything Ben Shapiro says is bad. He's what a stupid person thinks a smart person sounds like.

If they halved their limits, would the size of the line double?

Idk about double, you would have to imagine that some people would assume that they could try to skip the line and come in later, but it means that some people would just try to rope more people into coming.

With BCBS Vanilla Rye at Milk and Hops this evening, I have to reflect on the last BA vanilla beer I drank- Twigs. Besides being a bit thin, the flavor was spot on, and I didn't think it was particularly boozy despite some other comments. Anyone had their Nuts yet (hahaha love writing that sentence)? So far this is up there with Short, Dark and Wired (my favorite OH stout to date).

Personally think there wouldn't be much difference, at least initially.

thats what I was thinking. More people in line as a group as opposed to one person going and grabbing more for freinds, they might all be in line. At least for the bigger/hyped releases. I only went to the potato release because I thought I'd at least get some beer with the lower limits, maybe some others did too?

Haha they posted all over IG and FB so I didn't think it was a secret (also heavily promoted by that Where's The Beer NY account). Unless you've never had it before there's no way it will be worth the trouble or the cost (wouldn't be surprised if they price it over $40).

There is certainly a whole segment of people currently sitting on the sidelines who are not buying cans because they don't want to go through the extreme means needed to get the beer that may jump in if limits were lowered. It could increase amount of people which could make lines longer, all depends what time those people decided to go. Double batches some weeks have lasted beyond a line, so saturation point may have been reached, but that could change too.

They should have scheduled it for 10:00 am Saturday, maybe could have eased up the OH line !

They could just open at say 830 and get everyone out of there by 10. That is what Cycle did. The found out the city law allowed them to open early and now all of the releases are at 8am and the lines are gone before 10 even on super duper special release days.

Wait....WHAT??? So you picked by far the worst line ever to get "some beer" because there were lower limits? As if you couldn't easily get "some beer" any other week? And you think other people had the same line of thinking???
