Is Hyvemjnd anything like Pineal? I'm wondering if it provides the same diverse crowd reactions.

Anyone know what if anything was left at closing? Was hoping for a four pack of energy. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

There right now. Looks to be at least 20 cases of Energy and Splendor left. I came for Energy too...glad I did!

Sometimes they keep more leftovers in the back so hard to say how much is actually left.

Hey guys, anyone know if they have any Technicolor left tonight? Thinking about making the drive if they do

Pineal is one of my favorite Tired Hands beers and I think Hyvemind is extremely good too. It definitely feels like a double Pineal to me, in a great way.

Have been away for a few days, how was the Lemon Merangie shake?

I am a fan, I think it's right behind the vanillas for me though I tend to prefer the less fruity shakes in general. Lemon adds a nice tartness and the beer being as creamy as it is, it just works.

Killer on tap.. nice punch of vanilla and lemon up front ending hoppy with grassy tropical notes. Cracking some cans this weekend to compare.

Any thoughts on if PurPec bottles will stick around at the GS for a few days? Seems that that's kind of the new norm, but then again, this is the first collab bottle they've sold from there. Hoping it makes it til at least tomorrow evening. A bottle count would be nice...

Anybody know if Singing Swans is still there? I guess that would be a decent indicator to compare to.

No idea how long it will stick around, but I'm assuming the demand for Pur Pec is a good bit higher than the demand for Singing Swans.

Truth. I'm just hoping if Singing Swans has lasted a week that means PurPec will last a couple days. Probably not a rock solid algorithm, but I'll just be super sad if I go tomorrow and its gone already so I'm hoping its somewhat accurate.

So I posted this earlier on this thread and surprised it got no response. Not sure if it got lost in the shuffle. But I'm hearing Tired Hands is pulling out of all or most draft accounts. Really sucks for me, as there is a place 20 minutes from me that had 4 permanent taps. I can't say I blame them - they probably make minimal money on distributing kegs compared to canning or on-site draft. At least their can yields will probably go up now.

The shelf was full of Singing Swans as of 5 today.

That does suck because even though I live near the brewery I like to seek them out when we are in the city. I mean sure from a business perspective they make more money selling direct but it's not like they had a lot of accounts and I'm sure it brings a couple people to the brewery. Also I know a good amount of people who travel in and out of Philly asking where they can find it and heading out to Ardmore isn't usually in their plans.

Having a HyveMynd right now, love this beer but the sweetness creeps up on you, borderline cloying. Almost rich? There is something to this beer outside the bitterness spectrum, like an amped up Pineal in every way.

I was waiting for some other BA to confirm what you heard. Has your local place (4 handles) stopped serving Tired Hands beers?

    Cheers!

A place local to me, The Fridge, told me the same thing.

Yes, and the bartender confirmed they were told they won't be distributing kegs anymore. Places like Station Taproom and/or Monk's may continue to get some given their relationship with Tired Hands (and proximity).

I just noticed that Pizza Boy still has 3 Tired Hands, but it's been the same 3 for a couple weeks now so it may just be what they had leftover.

I was at TJs Everyday last evening and they had two Tired Hands beers on tap: Hop Hands & Alien Church. I have not noticed any changes there.

    Cheers!
