Beer Karma. Is it back?

That is awesome!!

It is like a "who's-who" of the old skool respected BA's and tons of past trading partners.... Plus quite a few current friends and ideas for folks that I need to reconnect with.

So glad to see the weights for forum posts have been adjusted and I like the notable feature.

 

I am assuming that bringing back the glassware icons would be problematic to the way the website is coded? Those things were neat. Either way, glad to see it back.

 

Lots of posts about that glassware. I too really liked it. Liked how the glass filled with brew and then overflowed... Just glad Beer Karma is back in a great format.

 

Exactly. Overflowed with beer. Wasn't there a fez at one point for Grand Poobah?

If it counts for anything: I'd love to see the glassware make a return.

 

Question: I was just looking at the link to notable members with high karma points. There is a guy named @ThatsThatDude that has 0 beer ratings, 30 posts and 27 likes and he has 2,000+ karma after being a member for 3 years...how does that work? (purely from a curiosity stand point)

 

I agree with this stance, as it takes more effort to add beers, places, pictures, etc. and write full reviews, than it does to post a message on the forum or tick a beer.

 

I, for one, am happy that the beer karma is back as well as the other updates that have happened to the site over the past few years. I won't lie, I felt like the website was a little neglected after the rollout of the mag, but I can appreciate how difficult managing both are! Glad to see everything up and running and back to where it was! The beer karma aspect of it I should what attracted me here as opposed to other beer related websites. then again, maybe I just have a soft spot for the mystics! Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things on here!!!

 

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to start reviewing beers again...man, that loss of karma had suddenly left me with all of this free time. I do appreciate the change back, Brothers.

 

I logged in yesterday for the first time in a while , and my Karma was at 0. I've waited over 24 hours (and reviewed one beer in that period) and my Karma is still at 0. @Todd it seems like there might still be a few kinks in the system?

 

As a curiosity thing as well... I noticed that under notable member area under beers i and a few people i know are not listed even though we have had enough or more beers than others. Just wondering the criteria... Thank you
