I'll be at a conference at the convention centre..,

I'm supposed to land in Denver at 6:30, which I'm assuming would be a bit late for the Summer Beer Fest? Does it sell out, is it crazy busy?

Do you think Project Black will have any Roswell left onsite? If not, does anyone else have Black Project on-tap, or is it best to make the trip down?

Does anyone have Casey on-tap? And where's the best place to find bottles to go. Mr. B's?

I definitely plan to go to Crooked Stave... then I'll see what else I can fit in...

    Suggestions welcome!

Falling Rock downtown for great tap list. Argonaut or Mr B's for bottle shops. Couple stores in area with better inventory-- but will require a trip outside of Denver.

You might try Goed Zuur on Welton, I believe they're tapping a Casey Cut beer August 2nd. It's a new sour bar with cheese and charcutierie.

I'd skip the Summer Beer Fest. Not that it's bad, just gets crowded. Besides it takes 3 days to get from where your plane gates to the terminus

Falling Rock has the largest selection. Goed Zuur is sour focused (only?). Mr B's and Argonaut are the bottle shops downtown. Small Batch and Mondo Vino are two others close to downtown, but would require transportation.

Great Divide and Mockery are right across the street from Crooked Stave (their tap room at "The Source". They moved the brewery back to their barrel room). If you like German beers, Bierstadt is a must.

Cool, I was wondering about Goed Zuur, but they didn't have anything from Casey currently on-tap. How do you know when their tapping new stuff?

I was thinking Bierstadt might be good if I'm out with friends that aren't beer geeks. I do love German brews. Or perhaps Fresh Craft for food, then Falling Rock for drinks?

I might hit up Great Divide if my liver isn't being punished enough.

You could do Freshcraft for both food and drink.

They have a bunch of Casey bottles available for on-site, maybe the best selection around town. Hops and Pie tends to have a good list of Casey bottles for on-site as well.

So Saturday night... do I go to Black Project in the hope that that'll still have some blueberry Roswell, or do I head to Crooked Stave for the Surette Reserva Palisade Peach?

call em or hit em up on FB they are pretty responsive. I haven't heard the 120 or so bottles of Sign are gone yet.

and do you like peaches or blueberries more? Although BP should still have a peach sour on.

Unfortunately, after delays, I didn't get to the hotel until 8:30. Everything seems to close at 10:00 on a Saturday night... What's up with that?

Yeah not sure where you were trying to go, maybe some breweries close then? But plenty of tap houses and bars to go to.
