Of course I get it. Hence the "not knocking them at all" part that wasn't quoted. Plus avoiding drama is a virtue as far as I'm concerned haha

I was just responding because a couple of posts alluded to OH responding to feedback in this thread. I've just never seen it personally. You personally have been great about limit/batch updates, and touching on the expansion. But I don't think anyone has come in here and directly addressed OH's stance on limits, how the line affects neighbors, why they do things a certain way. And obviously they shouldn't be compelled to. I was just saying that the people complaining in here would probably have better luck mentioning their concerns in person.

I imagine most collabs are just guys talking on the phone and deciding that the phone call counts.

Went in last night and got Growlers of DDH Superillo, DDH SD and DDH Aint Nothing Nice, No lines, wish they would bring the 32 oz pours down from $12 to $10 (or in-line with can prices per oz per beer) but I cant complain.

Got pours of Coir Boys, good beer, I think I prefer Smooth Beats Miami more, something about it was just not for me.

The new tap room looks amazing, super excited for it.

    What a bunch of sellouts...attention *****s!

But for real, great piece, good for them getting involved in charitable activities like this. The new taproom looks nice, if that's what I was looking at.

That is the new taproom. Has three wooden tables, a rail for drinks going around most of the perimeter, a good bathroom setup, and is fairly spacious, but it'll definitely still be packed on release days.

Who complained about On The Daly?

I don't see it anywhere on here. The frustrations are over the allotments being catered to resellers, not their charitable donations.

    Move along dude.

Very cool video, new found respect for Carson Daly. Puts into perspective some of the trivialities of this thread when you see the sacrifices people make for this country and other people.

I cant wait for the AUG thread to start. Hopefully all the Saltiness will be gone and we can get back to actually talking about the beer and the releases not OH business practices.

Even thought it seems those of you that are the saltiest about the case limits are the ones that don't go to releases anyway.

Think about this. If OH consistently had cans sitting in the tasting room for sale day after day. They would probably slow down can production and send more draft out as draft is actually a more profitable item for them if you factor in their costs (labor to can, the canning line, materials, maintenance) So think about that.

    Coooommmme ooooonnnnnn Aug

FWIW, cans that have limits of 3 4-packs have never sat around for more than a couple days (except maybe for Boogie Board Stuntz...) I'm one of the people who would like them to cut limits. As a local, I miss the days when I could stroll in around 11:30 and still pick up a 4-pack. Heck, I used to roll in on a some nights and still get cans. I wouldn't say I'm salty about it, just hopeful for the future.

Also I don't think they'd cut production. And to the point you're trying to make, wouldn't them sending more draft out be a good thing as well?

I really like how Trillium dropped two big collabs midweek. Catered to the locals, had reasonable limits and still sold out quickly

(Yes I know this doesn't fit OH's business model and therefore my post is completely moot)

Pretty sure nothing short of a blizzard or a hurricane keeps the crowd away from OH. The only sure fire way to keep the line away is for OH to release all non-IPAs

I'm actually in Boston right now and was lucky enough to walk into Trillium around 2 yesterday and grab a 4 pack of the Monkish collab as well as some Galaxy Cutting Tiles. I'm hoping that soon enough OH will be able to follow suit and ditch their current method of announcing releases a week before which usually results in massive amounts of hype and ridiculous lines. I was in and out of Trillium in 2 minutes yesterday and cans still sold out after just a few hours (with a 2 four pack pp limit).

Or if you want to talk about the beer, just do that! Here's how it works: had a Mosaic Cutting Tiles last night from Trillium (H/T to friend who picked up for me), really delicious but it can't touch the half dozen Mosaic-centric beers OH put out in the past 6 months, coming close only to regular Double Mosaic Dream. How the hell does Cutting Tiles have 99 and DMD only 95? Are the four points really telling? Anybody ever try these side by side?

Fingers crossed we get that DDH Double Mosaic Daydream before the summer runs out. Missed those cans and my growler share of the beer only left me wanting more (much, much more).
