Alesmith only distributes to half the country and those 3 bombers would be close to $40.00 in some areas after tax and deposit.

I'd never join a beer of the month club for a myriad of reasons, but out of curiosity, what were you expecting?

I read the FAQ and the "What will I get" section on their web page and it sounds like they provided what they said they would provide, and one month gave you more beer than advertised.

You have been a member two months and each month revived the beers advertised and they said Hillstead Farms is next. In 3 months they will have delivered 3 of the 5 brewers they said they would. At one brewer per month per box it sounds like they are delivering what they promised

    "Who can I expect
We are constantly adding breweries to the line up but you can expect beers from the likes of Hill Farmstead, Evil Twin, AleSmith, Lost Abbey, Perennial Artisan Ales, and more. We have listened to who your favorite breweries are and partnered with them to bring you the beer you’d love to have but could never find….before Brewiety."

People are complaining abut price and the Rare Beer Club is more expensive than Brewiety

From the little research I have done, Brewiety was started by some Untappd employees but the business itself has no affiliation with Untappd other than the people doing this as a side hustle work for them. I think this may be how they are hoping to draw in more breweries. By using the Untappd name to do so.

I would be interested in the HF stuff this month. From a response on Twitter from early June, HF did respond to a question about the relationship by stating, "we are going to do our best to brew a beer for them." Someone else not affiliated with either posted they are pretty sure one of the other bottles will be Arthur.

Overall, still too early on to jump full on board. I would be interested possibly in the HF stuff this month but they other breweries they have shipped already are available to me. Maybe not the beers they sent from eviltwin but definitely those from AleSmith. I would have been pissed if I joined up last month and the 3 bottles I received were ones I could have picked up locally for less.

I joined. I have been very disappointed so far. The next shipment will determine whether I stay or drop.

Edit. I miss the Brewster Club.

I researched the guy and he is a start up guy. He runs Entitle an online book reading outfit. He seems to be into creating online companies this being just another one of them.

In full disclosure I have a Rare Beer Club account, so I may be biased, but...

If you compare Brewiety's price (above) for 3 bottles or equivalent cans to Rare Beer Club 4-bottle option ($53 includes shipping) then Rare Beer Club is a better deal. Rare Beer Club is also really flexible...customers can skip months (no charge) or modify/swap their month's delivery with beers still in stock, so if you like really something or skipped a month you can order the beer again the next month. Also, Rare Beer Club selections are typically beers that are actually limited and sometimes even made just for Rare Beer Club. Brewiety's selections sound like "normal" seasonal beers with some limited distribution, which you could probably work the trade forums to get fairly easily for less cost, if cost is a motivating factor.

Interesting. So unless the guy really gets some more breweries on quick and sending more hard to get stuff this will fizz out in a few months, he won't have an emotional attachment then it's on to the next new idea. My guess is this venture does not last too long.

I tried to sign up because the brewery list looked half decent and it was only 50 bucks but they dont ship to CA. After reading this I'm glad because they're just shipping shelf beers.

The speedway stout I got in today's box was from april 2016. Considering fresh cans are everywhere here for $8 that was a little disappointing. I love speedway and have had it years old before but it is preferable fresh

From some of the feedback I am seeing a lot of people are getting routine beers and really old beer. I would bet this venture goes south really fast.

They shipped out more than a year old beer, a coffee beer at that. That is absolutely ridiculous!

This "club" sounds like a disaster. Hats off to those for trying it out and providing your feedback. A couple distributed cans? Old and distributed AleSmith bottles? Thank you fellow BA's for keeping me away from this venture.

Hey there! I came across this thread and thought I would try and clear some things up. I am the guy that runs Brewiety. I can assure you everything about the service is actually legit and we do in fact work directly with the the breweries themselves. I'll be the first to admit we have made some mistakes getting this thing going. We are two shipments in and we have listened to everyone's feedback & emails and have made changes to align the service with what you all are asking for. The feedback has been extremely helpful. We appreciate all the help. If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me directly @ [email protected]

Will you say what the HF beers will that are shipping in this month's box?

Answering that would provide some transparency and possible alleviate a number of the concerns expressed
