Anyone know if King Sue went out to distro? Just wondering if there is a chance it's hits later this week in WI.

What I don't see in that email from TG is any indication on some priority/availability to purchase beers like SR-71, KBBS, MD, and so on. Why the need to reiterate what you were getting? Unless you are getting less.

Is that too cynical of me?

I'm almost certain the bartender I was talking to there said King Sue was not going out for distribution.

They had discontinued the mug club, so in bringing it back it would be necessary to explain what you're getting.

On top of that, there wasn't a previous blanket guarantee that mug clubbers got preferential treatment on big releases. Sometimes you did, sometimes you didn't, and it varied from one release to the next.

It appears they were wrong. TG tweeted it is heading to IA, WI and MN.

Stinks...I will be in WI this week and looks like it won't hit stores until next week unless the distributors turn it around QUICK...which doesn't seem likely. At least there are some cool BA's that were able to grab me some FS&M and Sosus.

With it going to three states, it may not be hard to trade for.

Yeah, not worth all the hassle and shipping charges when we have M43 available. Love the King though.

If you go through Hudson, Cassanova is usually pretty quick to get the TG Bombers...

King Sue isn't coming to SE WI this week. Sosus and FSM should still be floating around though.

Yeah, totally agree. With a lot of great local IPAs all over now, it really isn't worth all the hunting and trading. I don't bother hunting for TG bombers at all anymore since there is a few really great local options here for ipas. And I can usually get them a lot fresher than I can get the TG bombers.

I was hearing next week, can anyone confirm that?

If you're in Madison I cannot answer that. Milwaukee will usually get it a week or two after Madison because we essentially get your leftovers.

Yes but that was when TG was self distributing and not Beer Capitol.

I have a buddy driving through Decorah in 15-minutes. I see TG does not open until noon. Any liquor stores in town that I should call to see if they have King Sue?
