One recommendation that some in this thread might not love would be to limit crowler sales to 2 or 3 per person? That would potentially help the beer last a bit. (Depending on the number of mules, people coming back multiple days, etc.)

Another would be to offer smaller pours at a slightly higher per ounce cost. Get some glassware to allow for 6 oz. pours maybe?

Just throwing some things out there.

As do I. I watched a guy yesterday walk out with 8 crowlers which is pretty absurd. No wonder these are getting kicked so fast.

Amateurs. You get a better discount by buying the whole keg.:stuck_out_tongue:

I regretfully agree with the crowler limit. I live in the SW burbs and it takes me an hour or so to get to Corridor. The reality is though I'd just bring my wife with so we could both get a full allotment.

You know there's plenty of other beer to drink, right?

My last trip I bought 6 Squeezit and one Bendy Straw. Three of the Squeezit's were for a friend.

In all honesty if it was a different format I wouldn't buy as many. Crowlers can last a good while in my fridge. If I were purchasing growlers it would be no more than one.

Oh for sure. And I go in spurts. I'm certainly not out their every release. I ration what I have and share the rest. I don't typically horde beer. I'll buy a 4 pack or two of what I want and move on. Squeezit and Bendy were a bit of an exception.

Gotta say I agree with the crowler limit also. 3 per person sounds like a good limit. People walking out with 8 is pretty wild.

As far as I know they do offer smaller pours but it's not listed on the menu specifically? Last time I was there I got a 'small pour', and it was served in the same bulb as the water/flights are served in, but I don't remember the price point unfortunately.

I don't really have an issue with doing that to skirt the limit, especially since it's technically not bogus if your wife drinks any (and if she doesn't, just don't mention it :stuck_out_tongue:).

The main issue, to me, is that Corridor is a local brewery, and trying to drum up some "hardcore beer nerd" hype via these hazy beers.

    1) If there's only a few day window to get the beer, this is going to stymie building their fanbase, and

    2) If everything kicks as soon as humanly possible, it's going to frustrate a lot of people, who will go elsewhere for their hazy fix. It hasn't been an issue for me personally since I only go for one or two crowlers and live pretty close by, but I can see it becoming an issue in the future, especially for people like JJH, who have to make an hour trip over.

I have no trouble getting a crowler in a 3-4 day window from them and enjoy the weekly tap turnover to a new NEIPA. At the point I start having to line-up or worry about not getting a crowler on release day is when I'd start implementing limits...

Didn't OG SqueezIt last almost a week? Not sure why you need limits when the beer lasts that long. If you can't make it in that week, wait until next week for their newest hazy offering.

Thank you, that definitely is within reason then. I realized I said website and I meant google haha. Google shows midnight so we went at 1045. No one mentioned that they were almost closing. We thought it was weird that you would hold last call an hour and a half before close. Thank you for the clarification.

I agree, I just assumed the limit suggestion was because the taps are running out increasingly quickly (at least that's what I assumed based on Corridor's IG postings). I mean, 8 crowlers is still a little much, but if the availability is there, I guess.

wow, does anyone else think that one week is a ludicrously short time frame to try a beer?

it's seems abundantly clear that there's plenty of demand for these types of offerings, so it's not like limiting crowlers/growlers would lead to any sort of backlog/waste/lost revenue.

this absolutely hinders the ability of people to get introduced to not only the style, but the brewery itself, but perhaps that's what the 8 crowler crowd is aiming for on some level.
