    New Month. New Hunting! :beer::whale2:

Went by TWHB this morning...and there were cans of hopslam in the back fridge. Canned date of 1/30/17. Other than that not much of any special releases :expressionless: Enjoy!

And it wasn't a good year for ac/dc. 2015 was the beginning of the end for them.

Picked up a sixer of Hess Grapefuit Solis for $10.49 at TW... what a fantastic beer at that price, also really love the can-style they're using now where the whole top comes off.

Hope everyone is doing well! If you are on the hunt, here are some new things released this week to look for around town:

    LA BEER
Honest Abe has started bottling! LA's only cidery and meadery, pretty impressive portfolio so far. I brought in their traditional dry Railsplitter as well as Limoncello which is lemon zested and with honey. I will be bringing in some of their meads shortly, but some of it is around town, too.

Eagle Rock All Your Oat Hazy IPA- this was my favorite hazy from last year, glad to see it return

Brouwerij West Starfish Hazy IPA- people in the BW thread seem to be approving of this one.

Cellador- A few new things, Cherry Saison and a series called Chuchotements (shoo-shoo-mah): blended saison, plus two variants, one with honeydew and cantaloupe and another with cerimoya. Also the newest ++good dry-hop variant Centennial is out and Firegold #6 with ruby red grapefruit has also been around for a moment.

Phantom Carriage Crawling Eye- one year in barrels I love these folks really aged sours

El Segundo Brewing Company Bursted- new rotation with Saphir, Mandarina Bavaria, and Huell Melon.

    OTHER GOOD STUFF
Prairie Twist Sour Ale and Prison Rodeo Coffee IPA
Alesmith Sublime Mexican Lager (as in the band)
Belching Beaver Deftones Phantom Bride (as in the band)
    Sam Adams Oktoberfest
    Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest
    Uinta Fest Helles
    Uinta Punk'n Pumpkin Beer
Kern River Drops (Just Outstanding, Long Swim, Shuttle Bunny)
New Belgium Fat Tire White Ale (pretty impressed with this one tbh)
Modern Times Rowing Needles (this was great, too)
Great Divide BA Hibernation (in 12oz bottles now much more reasonable price)
    DeGarde Autre Grand Rouge
Heater Allen Pils and Das Bier Kolsch

As always, if you want to find all of these selections under one roof, you can always come and pay me a visit!

And on another note, I'm doing some clearing out of some items. A lot of belgian and sour. Got Hill Farmstead (Grassroots), Fantome, DeRanke, Jolly Pumpkin, Drie Fonteinen, Propolis and a few others on lowest price, for anyone looking to build up their cellar! Have a good weekend everyone!

Maybe the wonderful Pacific Mods will let me do this here: Anyone have a recommendation on where to get a 6 or 12 shipper on the eastside/generally in the Highland Park area?

Easiest imo is just find a uhaul. Unsure if it's just a Orange County thing but the likelihood of the surrounding neighborhood be to super into wine (personally the one on the Costa Mesa/Newport Beach border always has them), the more likely you'll find the shippers.

The thread has been slow this month! Well new releases have had no slow downs at your local shops, here's some new stuff you should be finding around town:

    LA BEER
Indie: IPA Del Rey and El Primero were packaged and hit distro this week.

Beachwood Blendery: Careful with that Cherry, Eugene and Careful with that Raspberry, Eugene are new plus a colab with Sierra Nevada! Fortune Favors the Funk-- sounds like people are finding the 2017 much funkier.

Concrete Jungle: Mr. Shelton has finally got a lot of variety out of his wine barrels and into bottles. There's about a half-dozen labels out all with funky themes with different fruits and yeasts and what I consider to be one of the best barrel programs in the city.

Phantom Carriage Passionfruit Broadacres: looks like the carriage from Carson is finally getting their bottling program in shape.

Mumford Buggin' Out: Hazy Pale Ale. You know.

Noble Fun! Light: first canned 6-pack from Noble!

    OTHER BEER
Hopworks Urban Beer finally in LA! Out now is IPA, Gear Up Tropical IPA, Organic Pilsner, Organic Radler
Evil Twin: Aun Mas Chili Jesus, Sumo Sidecar Apricot Umami IPA, Twin Peaks IPA (One Day my IPA will have something to say about this)
Firestone Bretta Weisse (ask your liquor store about this one this wasn't supposed to hit distro but your more clever beer buyers will know how to cop it)
Deschutes Black Butte XXIX Imperial Porter
Against the Grain/Hoof Hearted Clearly Everyone Wants Some IPL
    Libertine Sea Shepard
Stone Hail to the Hop Thief 21st Anniversary IIPA

As always, if you want the convenience of finding this all under one roof, come to my dojo! I'm off 101 at Valley Circle. Folks a beer buyer's life isn't always spent in meetings! Come visit me anytime as I'm always looking to meet more of the community. If any of you are going to Enegren's anniversary tomorrow, let me know! Speaking of, we should be seeing bottles-- and cans!-- from them soon!

Cheers all the weather is great get out there and have a weekend!

A little over but not bad. De garde was $15-20 and Bernice was $23ish

Not too bad, probably the extra cost is what'd I've had to pay for shipping if I was trading at cost. DG always has the Tilamook "I drove two hours" premium anyway.
