Pumpkinator countdown

Very excited for this. I got 3 or 4 bottles last year. My buddy in Texas has 2 bottles coming my way.

 

Anyone know the pricepoint?

Hey all, I'm new to Houston (moved here last Oct) so this is my first time dealing with the release of Pumpkinator. I've read that Specs downtown will be sold out in a couple of hours or less. What about other specs locations, like Westheimer and Kirkwood? Secondly, do you need to be on location before the doors even open or can you get there at opening time?

It was crazy trying to get a couple bottles of Krunkin (though I know there were distribution issues). I can't imagine what it will be like trying to get a couple bottles of Pumpkinator.

 

$9.xx + Tax sounds about right. I know a Bomber of DR12 ran me $9.xx total w/ Tax included.

Bank on it being $8 ~ $10 / Bottle.

As long as you get there when the store opens its fine. If you want to Skip the lines just go to Heb Central market or other big ones. They'll have it and before specs.

 

I think I'll probably hit up Specs on Smith and get a feel for releases. I called Heb buffalo Speedway and they told me they got. 43 cases in and 2 a person so Specs might do 4 a person again this year. I just don't want to get my picture snapped and get in trouble for work lol

I always hoard the limited stuff for my off shore and out of town buddies - I have access to an extra case this time around and it's a shame to let a hookup go unused.

 

I'm guessing HEB on Red River/41st will have a ton.

 

Everyone should be fine. There's only so much people can horde. I doubt anyone single person will spend more than $200 on beer, even If they drive to all the stores. Ill be picking up a few bottles around 8 at HEB and then head over to Specs and go to work a few minutes late. Gonna have to tackle anyone taking pictures at Specs though lol.

 

Thx to everyone for the advice. That was definitely helpful. I have a somewhat flexible work schedule so I'll be able to hit the stores first thing before getting to work.

 

I plan on getting 6 bottles today. I love this beer and really missed out by only get 2 bottles last year.

 

I won't be able to go anywhere until 5pm, so if any Clear Lake area BA want to keep me updated on how things are looking, it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm going to try to hit up 518 specs and Bay Area after work.

 

I stayed up all night so cuz I got a test in a few hours I can't miss and I only work 4 hours today(really 3 because of a meeting) and it turned out to be the perfect day to pull an all nighter. I go to SAC so I'm gonna head to Central Market before class.

 

This is going to be my first year drinking it so im kinda stoked
