2017 Witch's Hat Fury for a Feast

I want one of these breweries with long names for their beers to create a thick stout called

"I got your mouthfeel right here".

 

And another called "How bout this body?"

 

Want to go into business together?

 

Fair point on the "brew it richer" aspect, but I'm fairly certain that aging an imperial stout longer actually results in it thinning out, so aging it longer wouldn't necessarily get that mouthfeel that Dragon's Milk lacks.

Each ticket will reserve one allotment of beers to purchase on 8/26/17. Here is what the allotments are for this release:

Traxxx Night Fury
- Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury w/ peanut butter, vanilla beans, coconut and Mindo cocoa nibs

&

(1) mix Fury 6 pack of up to one of each of the following:

Vanilla Bean Night Fury
- Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury w/ vanilla beans 13.5%

Cookies 'n Cream Night Fury
- Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury w/ vanilla beans, Mindo cocoa nibs and toasted coconut 13.5%

Double Barrel Night Fury
- Night Fury imperial stout first aged in bourbon barrels, then finished in Apple brandy barrels 14%

Rye Whiskey Night Fury
- Night Fury imperial stout aged in Rye Whiskey barrels 13.5%

Boysenberry Ghost Pepper Night Fury
- Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury w/ boysenberry syrup and ghost peppers 13.5%

Orange Truffle Night Fury
- Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury w/ Mindo cocoa nibs and orange zest 13.5%

 

Crack all 7 beers and save a little of each for a night fury cuvee? yes please.

Huh?

Those variants look cool though. I'm a sucker for both double barrel stouts and apple brandy stouts, so I'm sure that one will be killer.

 

I think they are saying you may elect to not buy any of those 6. So buy 4/6 or 5/6. And there are no substitutes in the 6 pack. e.g. can't substitute a vanilla for the ghostpepper.

Sad no espresso again but that DB more than makes up for it.

 

Are there any hotels in South Lyon? Any lodging recommendations?

 

A trashy motel and then another trashy motel near 23. Airbnb night have stuff. nearest hotel I can think of is a holiday inn in wixom I think and I can't guarantee an uber pick up either.

 

What's the chances of all the variants being for sale the next day... based on previous years that is... I didn't see any numbers for bottle counts.

 

With the party being the same day as the bottle release I don't think there will be much left the next day.

 

and you'll probably have to be in line by 11am.

 

That would be tough based on the party's list this year. Not sure how my liver will survive...
