Best Charleston, SC breweries/bottle shops

If you're going to Westbrook try Two Blokes right around the corner-some of the best beer brewed in SC and def pick up some Coast Hopart.
Now what is 1000 brews people are talking about? never heard of it and nothing on the web???

 

Too late for the OP, but no one has mentioned The Brew Cellar, which is in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Chuck.

Until Edmund's Oast Exchange opens, BC is probably the best for good selection other than House of Brews or Bottles (Total Wine, jr).

 

I'm heading to Charleston for the eclipse and would like to fly some beer back home with me. Where is the best place near downtown to get COAST cans? 32/50, Boy King, Rye Knot, Dead Arm, etc. I'd also like to find Westbrook One Claw, Two Claw, and Key Lime Gose if available.

Would I be likely to find many of those at Charlie's Grocery or Harris Teeter?

 

If Edmunds oast exchange is open, they'll have all of that. According to social media, it appears they will open any day now.

 

I got an email last night for an 'invite only' sneak preview at the new EOE on Thursday evening. They said they will have special beer and wine tastings. I would imagine that the store will be open to the public by this weekend or early next week. Business hours look to be about the same as the old place:
Tues.-Sat.: 11:00-8:00
Sun.: 12-5
Mon.: Closed

I saw a pic of some Jackie O's beers??? I hadn't heard those were sold in SC.

 

It's not distributed here, but they managed to get their hands on some. They had Dark Apparition BB (Coffee and Vanilla) and Wood Ya Honey.

 

Do you know if they sold out of the Dark Apparition BB?
