And I was reading he may have a tough legal battle ahead of him. WOB may bleed him dry.

They got much closer with Facing Future. It's more subtle hop-wise compared to the NE IPA big boys, but maybe that's in keeping with Right Proper's nuanced, balanced take on beers (I love these guys, btw). This is tasty-- worth dropping by for.

Also, took your advice on 3 Stars' Trouble in Paradise and it did not disappoint-- a very good beer for them.

Thanks for the heads up. I agree; somewhat surprised that they would even attempt a hyped beer like that.

Wait, did you pick your user name intending to get enough Beer Karma so your profile tab said Starrdogg Champion like the MLB song? Cause that's dope.

Oh damn, I just noticed that! Amazing! I don't think beer karma was a thing when I picked that username 7+ years ago, but man, I wish I had done that on purpose. I can't get any more karma now!

They refer to Mother Love Bone as "MLB" over in Maryland.

No, you most certainly cannot! Stop reviewing or commenting now! That's the best accident I've seen in a long time.
And @dhartogs and @RKP1967 I wasn't referring to Major League Baseball...sorry for the confusion.

Any place in the area planning a Snally-eve event? Coming in from Chicago on Friday the 22nd.
Also, any newish brewery's with taprooms in the region that are putting out good sours or juice-bombs?

I think Hatfield typed all the right places, but if you are driving Ocelot & Aslin is a must.

Anyone else try Manor Hill's No Sleeves? I am shocked by this beer to be honest. I know it's blasphemy to hype a blonde ale on this site but IMO this is pretty easily the best Manor Hill beer I've had. Huge mouthfeel for a 4.5% beer and plenty hoppy. Seems like they were shooting for a Eureka-style blonde.

Manor Hill's pilsner also really impressed me. They seem to be hitting their stride, at least with summertime lawnmower beers.

Speaking of hitting their stride, 3 Stars Technicolor Life is really good & Trouble in Paradise might be the best summer seasonal in the area. D is for Diamonds is solid too; haven't tried the other collab can yet.

I wasn't that impressed by Diamonds, but I'm looking forward to trying the DIPAs, Technicolor and Jabberwocky.

Anyone else headed to the event tomorrow?

The latest batch of Citra Splendor (now in six-packs of 12oz cans) was really good too. Was told they got new canning equipment. Seems like they're getting past the qc issues they've had in the past.

Aslin, Ocelot, Right Proper and Bluejacket.

There's a calendar on dcbeer.com that lists all the daily events. Not sure if anything's been added for 9/22 just yet. Bluejacket will likely be doing something in the lead-up to Snallygaster, since they're owned by the company that's putting it on.

Thinking about heading up to Union on Sunday for their release. Does anyone have any experience with releases? Are their lines? What time do I need to get there to secure cans etc.?

Heard talk of it but figured they were just rumors..any Bourbon County (bottle) drops in DC? I saw Vanilla Rye will be pouring at Whole Foods H..bet that'll get pretty busy.

It's on GI's Migration website. I'll be out of town tomorrow, but sounds like H Streets the place to be for rare Bourbon Countys tomorrow.
