Melvin Coming to CO

Sounds good. Never had a Mexican wheat brew they are doing tons of new stuff, from Tijuana to way down. My homies in Sd said they are making good beer here and there. They have to play the government game I feel sorry for them. But hey I play it everyday. They take bribes, not here though ha. We already sold out 240 bbl Heyzeus in a day I was just in they are Brewing a bunch more, just ask your local liquor/craft brew store. Make our Brewers work their bootys off. I'm Glad everyone is enjoying the brews. Doing a R and D brew in the morning with Apollo/CTZ hop hash and some new stuff people sent me. We will see if it makes it to production.

Thanks Billl, not high in abv but still has a enough hops to satisfy. Plus you do wake up with your head hurting.

You have So Cal already West Coast Wyoming yo. By way of SD. Eat fish tacos and drink Heyzeus or Ska Mexican Logger there's a bunch of killer light brew out there. But we all love those mother fn hoppy brews. BTW Amigo Mexican Lager was the first Og Mex lager when I brewed for Pizza Port. Old school yo. Used to fight with Larry Bell(Bells Brewing) about it. He told me it would never fly. Well looks like it took hold. Enjoy the brews and tell your wife you now drink light beer! In a roundabout sorta way.

When is Heyzeus expected to drop around the Denver area?

Probably the first or second week of August but don't quote me on that. For such a light brew it takes a while to lager etc.

No clue(hahah). Just keep supporting your local breweries. My guess is Melvin will be "local" soon. Good beer is good beer it finds its way.

I have a question on the 7/6/17 Melvin IPA. Bought 3 six packs of it the other week. First night think I finish a 6 pack of it. Next night I had a different beer first then the Melvin and it was pretty malty. So I just thought having a different beer first was making my taste buds screwed up.

Last night I tried one on a fresh palate and once again it was pretty damn malty to the point I didn't like it. I even opened another can and same thing. There is little to no hop flavor to it. Any ideas what it could be? They have all been stored in my fridge since I bought them. This isn't a complaining post I'm jus my curious what could have happened. I've had Melvin a month old plenty of times and it's fantastic.
