I'm sure PCG will be great, but it doesn't take much to be more enjoyable than M-43.

Hot take on M-43. Most people (myself included) seem to like it.

I realize I'm in the minority, but I'm completely baffled by the fascination with M-43.

I wouldn't have stated it unless I was 100% certain of my humble opinion. Looking forward to the reviews.

Damn... Zombie is quite the marker. Whats the hop profile on PCG?
I remember PCG being great last year but not on the same level as the top tier single hop Citra brews like Zombie and Sue.
Looking forward to adding some thoughts tomorrow

I seem to remember 12.99 last year for a sixer. Thinking it will be the same and the cans might be cheaper this year.

I'm getting this out there, now. All cans will go out of state except Short's Mart and potentially the Pull Barn in Elk Rapids. Read below for more information- and no whining! So, if you must have a can, call up your buddies in the Antrim County area or start driving.

“The release of Psychedelic Cat Grass is a huge undertaking and logistical puzzle. Due to the timing of truck deliveries, bottling and canning line capacity, and weight restrictions this distribution of cans and bottles is how we are ensuring the largest numbers of Short’s fans in Michigan and beyond are able to enjoy Psychedelic Cat Grass. The pub and Short's Mart will be receiving a limited number of Psychedelic Cat Grass cans.”

    Makes sense.
And, btw, if this beer is as good as you say, you should brew it regularly.
    Maybe even replace Huma
Maybe brew Superfluid more as well
I had PCG last year and it was good. I am not good at comparing beers, but I'd agree it stacks up well with Zombie Dust, I don't think you can even compare PCG and M43, but you can prefer one over the other.

You are making it sound like the best Shorts hoppy beer, ever.

I just came here to ask about the cans because I ran into one of the delivery guys while picking up a sixer and he said he only had bottles on his truck.

Just checked the website again and noticed that all of the off-premise locations for Ohio and Indiana are no longer on the list, including most places in my area. Is this a web issue or will the carry-out beverage stores in Ohio & Indiana not get the cans?

They will be there Friday. Our canning machine had issues. Just finished them up about an hour ago.

I think it's one of them, to be completely honest. Just my opinion.

Gonna pretty much leave it there, not trying to hype it to a unreachable level for you all.

Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo. Dry hopped with the same.

Ok. Thanks for the info. Guess I will have to take another day off of work on Friday.

I agree, it's difficult when comparing completely different styles of IPA. Purchased a case of fresh Zombie last month at the brewery, and although it was stellar, a favorite of mine, I enjoyed this years PGC just as much, if not a bit more.

I just heard that there will be no PCG in Central Wisconsin. They were told by distributor that only sixth barrels for places holding events but nothing going to liquor stores.

There's about 4 cases or so of cans in Elk Rapids at the Pull Barn, in case anyone is in the TC area and doesn't need/want to go to Bellaire.

I swear to god when I looked at this list 2 places near me, in northwest WI (The Village Dell in Rice Lake & Island Wines in Cumberland) were on it. Did the list get edited or am I going crazy?

Very well could have been. The yield was lower than expected, and the list had to be tweaked. Many received a case or two less, and no ON premise account received more than one 1/4bbl.
