Aardwolf El Mariachi

    I'm not sure about how everyone else feels, but I am super excited for the upcoming BA El Mariachi release. While I think all of the variants will be good, I am particularly interested in the Rum variant. Thoughts?

    I am super excited as well! I'll be there for sure! Apple Brandy Variant is what i am most excited about. Be prepared to line up early, especially if you want the AB Variant.

    @Thirst_trappist , releases are tough to gauge overall, but i would say it's a safe bet that at least the Apple Brandy Version will sell out in the initial line. El Mariachi has a history of selling well, but i think there was at least one variant available after the release last year for a couple of days.

    Yeah went last year....but i remember them having some leftovers. Wish they'd open sooner for releases

    Believe me, we all do! I'd prefer 11, but would settle for noon! those last couple hours in the heat are exhausting (and intoxicating if taking part in the share). Are you local to Jax / do you know me? LOL

    I agree with @Gsteele292 that there are usually some available after the initial line. However, with popularity and quality of El Mariachi, I would agree that the AB variant (AB White Russian went first and was FANTASTIC) will be the one to go, if any do.

    @efrankmcguire There is always a share before the Aardwolf releases. Pretty epic shares, to be honest. There will be those crazies in line at 0900, starting the share then. I'm not sure what time i am actually going to get there, but i am bringing a 64oz hydroflask of water! hydration in these shares is required, and it is likely to be crazy hot in the line too.

    No doubt about the heat @Gsteele292. I normally don't line up too early, but I will this year. Good idea on the water. I will bring something nice to share as well.

    These releases make me bummed to have moved away, but I usually end up getting some in the end eventually. Love me some Aardwolf!

    I will! Jon texted me recently about coming down for a blind tasting but haven't heard from him since. I need to grab my co-host and pop down and visit some peeps.

    I'll be down Sunday, Oct. 1st for an orchestra gig but usually I'm pretty busy and it seems like a lot of breweries are closed or close early on Sundays.

    I am a little bummed that the Brandy variant is just that...Brandy, not Apple Brandy. I am sucker for AB stouts. Nonetheless, I am sure it will still be delicious. See you guys there!

    All three Variants are unique, and quite tasty! I think the Rum will end up being my favorite over time, but the Brandy was tasty yesterday!
