My hope would be that they have a couple rotating beers always available and weekend releases for collabs and new stuff

Yup, I'd be beyond pumped if they have Hop Showers always available

Does anyone know how many glasses were sold at AS IS? I heard somewhere that OH only had 50...

I can't remember if it was last fall or this spring but I went to OH on a weekday at lunchtime for a release and I am pretty sure it was two different cans. Can't recall which though.

I got the last ticket at As Is, basically like 5:05 pm, it was a hectic rush, hard to guess but definitely 50 or less I would guess given the number of people in the bar, no way it was 100.
Overall As Is did a great job with the event. Well staffed energetic bartenders, while it did get crowded (and very hot from 6-7:30), it ran about as well as a mobbed event could...

*Chris Farley interview voice* Remember when I think weekend before last thanksgiving they did a DMD release but had a canning issue so they did release part 2 wed before thanksgiving starting around lunchtime? That was awesome.

OH had exactly 48. Also, ddh or death is a smaller than regular teku.

I went to the As Is event last night. Nice to have a wide selection of OH beers and there were quite a few I tried for the first time.

The bar was definitely understaffed unfortunately, it sometime took 10 to 15 minutes to get a beer...place was packed.

Also sucked that there were some bros there who feel they are entitled to sit at the bar

Hey, I am curious about your last line. Did they have the bar seats closed off or something? Just wondering why someone would be entitled to sit at the bar. Whenever I've been I see people at the tables and at the bar.

Also, the count I heard was 48 glasses at OH and 70ish at AsIs.

I got to the brewery at 5:22 and the glasses were out. Either way, I missed any semblance of a line thankfully.

I think is more of the bar's fault, if you are expecting a packed bar you should try to remove bar stools and support turnover.

I get that a certain etiquette at a crowded bar is key to social order- when there's limited real estate for those not sitting to place an order, I try not to linger there. Some people don't mind shutting off that valve to hold for themselves that golden spigot. Those patrons be damned!

Y'all were making me think I was crazy so I looked back at my emailed receipts.

November 23, 2016 they opened up esrly and released cans of Fully Frothed and DMD. It was a Wednesday. Granted it was before Thanksgiving but it was 2 cans midweek.

But maybe it is still a bar, where people might sit, drink beer, talk with friends, etc. Just because trendy craft beer is served and TEKUS! doesn't mean everyone has to line up like cattle and move on as soon as possible.

    ...

No, I simply had a frustrating experience last night were a few guys (who were there since 3pm) would get up from their bar stool and just stand by their seats, but not sit down, and not let anyone sit down on them, as if they were entitled to them. After a while of them just standing around, I just sat down on the stool and one of them got angry, as if he owned it. Just weird shit.

Sorry for not clarifying originally, but let's not jump to weird assumptions.

Well, all yall OH fiends decimated the As Is taplist. They kicked something like 15 kegs last night. I had to settle fro Grimm Splish and Finback Must on draft, both of which were great.

The only OH there now are the IPA, a pils, and Maple Creamies.

I don't disagree with you, but just because they are a bar doesn't mean they shouldnt prep better. I mean Other Half on days they expect to be busy moves the picnic table out of their tap room to allow for more standing space. It's essentially the same concept. It seems like it could have been planned better.
