NBS BIF #6 Sign-up thread

Welcome aboard!

At the beginning of September you will be given a target and someone will be given you as a target. We all leave target hints and haul hints until the share date. Then everyone posts the beers they get on NBS thread on share date.

First post has some info of what to send and the dates. Check out the previous rounds for pics of the hauls and to see the hints.

 

If you read from the beginning there are a few ninja contests that ended and 2 currently ongoing. You may want to jump in on the ongoing ones and possibly consider one yourself.

It's a pretty cool idea to share some great beer and if done properly (USPS flat rate box and a couple bombers or cans or whatever) it's also pretty cheap.

These shenanigans help bide the time till targets are out and also a really cool way to make someone's day or week!

Are those HF cans typically available? Hoping to get some when I make my way through VT over Labor Day week. Looking at Tuesday in White River Junction with a trip north on Wednesday.

 

Never done a BIF, but would love to try one if you all will have me.

 

They have had them reasonably often, but they don't tell you when/if they will for the most part.

Looks like you have 400 miles give or take just to get to southern NJ, so round trip with an equal amount of driving in between... I'll go with 1,201.5. Also, if I win I will defer the brews to an unsuspecting newbie.

Probably a dumb question, but I assume you've been keeping tabs on past targets so that they aren't duplicated? Now that we've gone quite a few rounds it seems like that would be getting tougher each time.

Sounds like a blast, count me in for this!

 

I am thinking this BIF and NBS, in general, will improve my tasting nuances. My abilities to pick up different hops or adjucts is lacking.

 

Not to sound like a total newbie here but what the hell does LIF stand for? By the way already loving these ninja boxes, you guys are obviously quite a generous group!
