So did the scientific line management get a thumbs up?

I liked how Equilibrium one-upped Treehouse's drone line pictures with one from a plane

Stopped in yesterday around 6PM. Tried Hoptimization #2 and #3 and TABA and Casey.

The Hoptimization beers were tasty. Casey is a bit sharp for me, TABA easy-drinking and relatively clean. Shared a bottle of Casey Apricot. That beer was very tasty. Tons of apricot.

It was a helicopter that flew in low over the building.

Had an awesome first trip to Equilibrium on Saturday. Was expecting it to be jam packed, but it was super comfortable (maybe partly because we did an early 5 pm dinner and partly because of the can release in the morning). Beer was superb, had all three Hoptimization and feel they are getting better and better. 3 was definitely my favorite but still nice to leave with a growler of 1. Food and service were both excellent as well, nice to see the menu is no afterthought here. Really looking forward to going back sometime.

I love that Equilibrium partnered up with a grille. My wife isn't a big beer drinker, but equilibrium is usually an easy sell because of the restaurant and There and Back Again is a fantastic sour.

Hit up Equilibrium yesterday... Got there right at open, scooped some 4 packs of MC2 and filled a few growlers... Wish their beers made it down to the city more regularly (or I had better luck finding them).

The Well in Brooklyn has them on tap sometimes.

I scooped up a 4 pack on Sunday as well, and man that MC^2 is some good stuff, wish the drive wasn't so far!

Don't sleep on Holy Dog down the street. Chino is the man.

Going to be in Middletown this weekend but won't be able to get to there until around 5ish. Crossing my fingers cans/bottles somehow don't sell out. At the least I'm excited to get to the taproom and be able to try some stuff!

The post above says from 11:30-4pm, does that mean that they don't sell cans/bottles after 4pm? I'll probably be dropping by EQ around 8-9 next saturday so wasn't sure if there was a chance for bottles/cans

    They start at 11 IIRC.

For frame of reference: I went last weekend at 4pm, they had sold out of Harvester of Simcoe by 1:30p, but had a few cases of Fractal Mosaic left. Zero line, plenty of space in the taproom to easily grab growlers of whatever you want.

Yea I was confused too so I asked on Facebook. They treat the brewery and taproom as separate businesses. Sales from 11-4 are out of the actual brewery and if anything is left over, they're sold at the taproom, which is open until midnight. So if anything is still left, you'll be able to get it at the taproom when you visit at 8.

They don't own the restaurant. They lease out the space. Was surprised to find that out.

BTW if you are looking for a quick bite after the brewery, Holy Dog down the street is an awesome counter spot.
