Plenty of their releases something lasts until the next day. As stated, it's usually very relaxed compared to others.
That being said, the Friday release that coincided with the Veil anniv party the DIPA sold out that evening by dinner time. But the yields were lower for N&K that week compared to these.

Four total cans at Fulton plus Crowler variants at Downtown/Foushee next Friday.
    ______________________________________________________________
The other two beers we are releasing next Friday, 8/11 in Fulton are as follows below. There will also be a crowler release Downtown with a few variants available, more details very soon...

Waxing Poetic Berliner Peach Pineapple - Our 4% rotating fruit forward berliner series with some new fruit in the fold. We generously dosed this batch with peach and pineapple. Peach will take the front seat on this fruit combination and pineapple is there to round it out.
We are shooting for 180 cases.

Lager Bier 4.5% ABV - First time we have canned a unfiltered German style lager and it is on point. Bright lemon yellow hue and unequivocally drinkable. We let this beer have some extra tank time to mellow out and really is shinning bright.
We are shooting for 120 cases.

    Plus the two previously announced

Lockout Series: Ivory Tower DIPA 8% - The Lockout Series returns. This time around we decided to throw the book at the hop profile. We are featuring Mosaic, Simcoe, Chinook, Citra and Columbus. Notes of bright citrus, apricot and peaches are showing up big time.
    Shooting for 240 cases

Interstellar Burst DIPA 8% - Galaxy, Citra and El Dorado. Notes of grapefruit, nectarine and dank tropical fruits.
    Shooting for 240 cases

Crowler release announced for Friday (8/11) at the Downtown / Foushee St. location. I believe this is the first Gose they have done.
    ______________________________________________
Salinity - 3.8% ABV - Our take on a Gose featuring salt and coriander launches in crowlers this Friday Downtown. Lemon sourness, an herbal characteristic, and a saltiness all bundled into one.

We will have crowlers available and a lime variant keg for draft pours.

Anyone have a read on how crazy Triple Crossing might be on Friday? I'm not gonna be able to get there until 2-2:30 and wondering it it's gonna sell out that fast.

I don't think it will be all that crazy and you should be fine arriving around that time. The lunch rush will have died down and it will probably be pretty easy going.

Still waiting for limits on Waxing Poetic but the Lager and both DIPAs are at 1 case per. At 180 cases for Waxing I am going to assume 4-6 4pk limit on that. Last month's Waxing sold out of 120 cases in 2 1/2 hours but that was a Tues 4pm release. A Noon Friday opening should last longer but I could see it selling out Fri evening. Waxing should be the first to sell out. If they do sell out through cans they often allow Growler fills and the Downtown/Foushee location would probably fill Crowlers on-demand. That's how they have done it in the past.

My thought is with Veil Forever Summer could have some extra out of towners looking to maximize their trip and buying full allotments. I'm hoping I'm able to get everything on Friday at 2:30 but I'm concerned.

It will be interesting to see the turnout. Triple Crossing has not had a super crazy release yet with a lot of people lining up early but Friday could be that day. It's usually just a steady flow when they are busy. I'm going to try to swing by Saturday hoping they have at least the DIPAs left at around Noon but that could be a mad house too with the Session B and C Veil folks making their hops around RVA before heading over over for their sessions and then later in the afternoon the Session A folks (hopefully by way of Uber or DD) trying to make rounds after 90+oz of beer.

Triple Crossing does do a great job updating social media if/when something sells out so just keep a eye out on their page.

Think the limits are entirely too high given the people coming into town on Friday. I'll happily eat my words, but TCB has seen their cans (at least dipas, and new releases) sell out more quickly recently, yet the limits are still staying the same. The last wasxing poetic sold out in like two hours, and it coincided with a Veil release. Not complaining, as I think it's great they are getting well deserved recogntion. At the very least the draft should be flowing throughout the weekend, and the dipas should make their way to downtown location by Saturday, which is closer for those attending Forever Summer.

I agree with you @Shilt . I think much of the time a brewery simply goes off their counts without taking into account other factors outside of the brewery. But at the end of the day I also understand the business side of wanting to make sure to sell as much as possible to make as much as they can even if it may make some patrons upset. They don't want to risk low limits, even with high confidence it will surely sell out, and some ends up sitting. I think they should be lower as well.

That being said......Waxing limit announces. Everything is 1 case limit. Gonna see lots of dollies and mules I bet!

    Lager Bier
    Shooting for 120 cases - 1 case limit - $12.00/4pk

Waxing Poetic w/ Peach and Pineapple
    Shooting for 180 cases - 1 case limit - $16.50/4pk

    Lockout: Ivory Tower DIPA

    Shooting for 240 cases - 1 case limit - $16.50/4pk

    Interstellar Burst DIPA
    Shooting for 240 cases - 1 case limit - $16.50/4pk

Yeah a case is high. I think four 4-packs per person would still have a sell out with the amount of extra people in town.

Don't know why anyone would need 2 cases of DIPA tallboys but who am I to judge.

Final counts for tomorrow's release at Fulton. Each is 1 case (6 4pks per person)
    _______________________

    - Lager Bier clocks 4.5% (127 cases) - This is the first ever unfiltered lager that we have canned. Golden straw hue and bright lemon crisp aroma are first presented after the can is poured. The fluffy snow foam crest the glass and slightly hazy hue finalizes the presentation. Very palatable, soft, clean, and refreshing.

    - Waxing Poetic Berliner Peach Pineapple 4% (174 cases). Our rotating fruit forward berliner series with some new fruit in the fold. We generously dosed this batch with peach and pineapple. Pineapple and peach are both very present with the aroma lending itself more towards tropical pineapple.

    - Ivory Tower DIPA 8% (244 cases) - The Lockout Series returns. Mosaic, Simcoe, Chinook, Citra and Columbus shine bright in this one. Notes of bright citrus, apricot and peaches are showing up big time.

    - Interstellar Burst DIPA 8% (264 cases) - Galaxy, Citra and El Dorado. Big passionfruit, pineapple, grapefruit, nectarine and mango aromatics that carry over into the entire flavor profile. This beer is very soft, fluffy and no bitterness is present which compliments the tropical fruit.

Brewery posted an update about where can sales are to take place.....for those who may be thinking about showing up before opening it's different than normal. Otherwise, I'm sure it will be obvious where the line is.
    ______________________________
Can sales will be in our event space tomorrow. **If we blow through the first two pallets (out of three) of each beer before 5pm, we will return to our normal can line at the bar**.

Line will start at the door closest to the bocce court.

They had a good crowd for this release. I got to Fulton a little before 11:30 and there were 30+ in line already. Sounds like they had a heavy line through at least 2:30 today.

I heard it was a pretty solid line - was still out the door past the bocce court at about 2PM. Good chance there were a lot of folks in town for Forever Summer who hit this up too. If I'd had a clue the happenings in RVA on Friday, I'd have taken the day off to do this release, Mekong etc.

Question: Anyone had Ivory Tower and Interstellar Burst yet? I was able to get a couple cans and was wondering if they're good to go or maybe should wait a week. I'm thinking Valhalla/Battle Creek which had a lengthy "onion" phase. I had a ton of those but limited here so was hoping to avoid any not-so-great surprises. Thanks!

I was super glad I had taken a half day got TCB cans and crowler of the Gose w/ lime. I then got over to Mekong and throughly enjoyed myself. I had Interstellar while in line at TCB and thought it was just a slightly "green" I had a can of Ivory Tower on Saturday and thought it was closer to "ready."

I've had both and both are great. Of the two, I prefer the Interstellar Burst but got no oniony taste from either.
