Why is everyone ripping Food Emporium. A place here in Astoria tries getting $8.99 for a Grimm can and $7.99 for a freaking SC session.

The bottles were $19.99 and they generously lowered them to $16.99. They have bottles from like 4-6 releases ago still. It's so bad they took them out of the fridge and put them up top.

Emporium isn't THAT bad right...? RIGHT?!

Call them out. Who is it? Just because you may have found something worse doesn't mean bad isn't bad.

    Yup. Well convenient store/beer/smoke.

And I do call them out. Every timeeeeee. Hey you guys know these are $5 and $11 at WF right? Yeah we do. Oh okay. No wonder they're sitting there for months

I hope Joe and Lauren read this. They have about a dozen just sitting there last I looked. I never buy crap from them it's just unfortunate they waste good beer and Grimm could be in better hands and distributed elsewhere for the same cost to not sit around

Pretty soon, it won't matter because I would imagine most releases would be brewery only with only kegs going out to retail. Also, and I could be wrong on this, I think they responded once before on this saying that they don't have direct control who gets their stuff because they don't self distribute.

Vintner Beer & Cheese on 9th Ave also consistently charge $10-$11 for Grimm IPA cans. They seem to have no problem selling them, though, so there's that. Perhaps they're priced for onsite consumption only?

I genuinely cannot wait for the taproom to open. I missed Rainbow and Passion Dome, and Rainbow is my favorite Grimm beer. I haven't had an IPA can since In Mid-Air. first world problem, I know, but they're one of or my favorite local spots! Just want to be able to sit and enjoy a couple pours without having to go hunting across BK.

Thanks for the tip! Bottles seem to last longer in the city than BK for whatever reason. Next time I make my way in I'll try to stop there.

I'm kind of new to sours, but man was Boysen Raspberry Pop amazing, and from the looks of what I've read, Grimm seems to do even better with other offerings. I thought the rainbow dome was great as well, but the pop was more for me. So.... which others should i check out when they arrive?

@afroskully I have seen bottles of Mango Pop around, but any of their Berliners or fruited sours. But I have to say, I think all of their sours are consistently fantastic. Well, except maybe Super Spruce.

Boysen was my favorite Pop so far, but all of them have been excellent. Check out the Dome series as well.
